Sanctuary Lamp The Sanctuary lamp will burn for Our Lady of Canvey Deceased Parishioners when we have no names booked in. We have loads spaces please book for your friends & loved ones. Goodwill Club The Goodwill Club have now started in the Parish hall. They will be in there every Friday from 7-10pm & it is open to anyone who is interested. Entrance fee is 3 & they do different things each week which are bingo, sequence dancing & much more & they even do holidays & day trips out. They currently have around 40 people attending. Your first session to try it is completely FREE so come along & find out more! Offertory Collection The Offertory collection last week was 448.40 of which 249.50 was Gift Aided. Many thanks for your generous donations. The Jersey Guys Saturday - 19th May at Campion School. The UK s premiere tribute band to the hit West End musical "The Jersey Boys" and the music of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons are back at Campion for the 4th year!! Salvation Army Community get together Brunch. Friday 23 rd March 10am-2pm at Salvation Army Hall, Mitchells Avenue, Canvey Island SS8 8JB. Have a full English breakfast or bacon butty with us & know that profits go to the Salvation Army food bank, a greatly used & much needed community resource. Easter Lillies If you would like an Easter Lilly for your loved one this Easter they are 2.50 per stem with a maximum of two names per stem. The envelopes will be at the back of the church in the Easter Lilly box. Names will then be displayed in an A3 frame on the altar. Parish Race Night Saturday 14 th April. Horses & Jockeys will be on sale after Mass. Horses 5 The winning horse receives 15 Jockeys 2.50 The winning Jockey receives 7.50. All money raised will go towards Parish funds. SVP National Draw This weekend of 10/11 th March the SVP will be selling their national draw tickets. LOURDES 2018 - The Southend Across Group has two spaces on the Jumbulance for any male pilgrim who, through illness or disability requires care and support. We leave for Lourdes on Thursday June 14th and return on Saturday June 23rd.
