CATHOLIC APPEAL 2014 This week, Catholics across the Archdiocese are being asked to make a commitment to support the 2014 Catholic Appeal. Ministries supported by the Appeal have a direct impact on the administration and evangelization efforts at St. Eulalia's as well as at the 287 other parishes in our Archdiocese. Your generous support and participation is critical to the success of the 2014 Catholic appeal at St. Eulalia's and helps move us forward in hope as we seek to better embody the Gospel message in our lives. If you did not already do so at Mass this weekend, please complete a pledge form available in the booklet rack in the foyer of the church or pledge online at BostonCatholicAppeal.org. Thank you for your prayers and support for a successful Catholic Appeal. For more information on the Appeal, or to pledge online, please visit BostonCatholicAppeal.org. You may also direct any questions to our Appeal Coordinator, Anna-Marie Ferraro at 781-648-5132. Thank you for your prayers and support as we all help to further Cardinal Sean's mission as we move forward in hope. ENGAGED COUPLES PROGRAM Saint Eulalia s Parish Community shares the excitement of our engaged couples and is eager to assist them as they prepare for married life. Our 2014 Marriage Preparation Weekend will be held next weekend, March 8th and 9th. They will receive a special blessing at the 5:00 p.m. Mass on Sunday, March 9th. SPECIAL COLLECTION This week s collection supports the Church in Africa and in Central and Eastern Europe. For more information, please visit www.usccb.org/churchinafrica and www.usccb.org/aee. A contribution will be made from OSR. The program has four components: prayer, fasting, education, and almsgiving. We encourage you to take home a Rice Bowl container and a home calendar guide. Both items are to be found in the church foyer. Let our Lenten spirituality be rooted in solidarity with people everywhere, especially with the poor. Rice Bowls should be returned at the Holy Thursday Liturgy, when it is suggested that there be a procession of the faithful with gifts for the poor. IT WOULD BE MOST HELPFUL TO THE OFFICE if you would count any coin in the Rice Bowl, round it up, and replace the coin with paper money or a check to St. Eulalia indicating Rice Bowl in the memo section..
