VIDEO PROJECTION SYSTEM As you can see, the installation of our new media system is underway; we hope to have it operational by mid-late September. Currently the Worship Commission will be training parishioners for this new ministry. We have about six interested individuals but will need many more to run this state of the art system each Sunday. Training is minimal, and operation of the system is simple. RCIA - RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION FOR ADULTS ARE YOU CATHOLIC? Would you like to know more about the Catholic faith? Are you or someone you know interested in converting from another Christian religion, or maybe someone you know has never been baptized and is interested in becoming a Catholic? RCIA, the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults can be one way of answering these questions. Inquiry sessions will be held on Sundays, beginning September 13 following the 8:30 AM Mass (in the Lounge, adjacent to Bona Hall). FAITH FORMATION Contact: Dr. Robert Berchmans 490-1352 x 216 or natrb@nativityparish.com SEEKING SUBSTITUTE CATECHISTS FOR OUR CHILDREN AND YOUTH Parents and other generous adults serving as substitute catechists are another reason why our Religion Education programs are so effective. Many of us might feel called to serve as catechists, but do not feel we have enough knowledge of the faith to teach effectively. Not true remember, God doesn t call the equipped, He equips the called. Our staff, and your fellow catechists, plus God s grace, are there for you! All catechists need training to be effective in the classroom, just like each of us do in our workplace. We offer training sessions throughout the year to help all catechists know their material and connect with other teachers. Our staff provides personal support and individual training for those with less experience. JOIN THE FAITH FORMATION MINISTRY Are you interested in helping provide quality Faith Formation for children, youth, and adults? We invite you to be a member of our ministry for the 2015-2016 school year. We are seeking parish members from a variety of backgrounds who are interested in helping the Faith Formation Ministry grow. Some of the specific goals we have this year, as part of our Faith Formation Ministry, are: Creating a mission and vision statement for Faith Formation Brainstorming and Planning Catechist Formation Creating a Family Handbook Planning different Faith Formation Activities for the Family Our meetings are approximately an hour and a half and they take place on the second Thursday of the month. Please pray about this opportunity. SUNDAY CHILDCARE IS OPEN We are offering childcare for children 0-4 years during the 10:15 AM. Mass on Sundays when there is Faith Formation classes. The nursery is located in the 200 hallway of the classroom wing. The non-profit organization consists of elementary and high schools, trade school and universities. He has educated, through APUFRAM, thousands of young children who are now helping their communities in various fields such as agriculture, business, engineering, medicine and teaching. NATIVITY CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE The Nativity Christmas Giving Tree Program has partnered with the Ashwaubenon School District to serve as many as 250 children each year by providing items of need and toys for children in our community who might not otherwise have gifts at Christmas. PRAY AND PLAY Our Ladies Pray and Play, beginning its 22nd year, is a Bible study group that welcomes women from any parish.
