That s what we call this earth ball a globe. We re going to start shaking the parachute but we have to try and keep the globes from touching the floor. Are you ready? (Pause.) Let s play! (Continue as long as there is interest.) At the end of the activity: You did a great job keeping the globes off of the floor. That was fun! Look at this globe with me for a moment. There is a lot of water and these green parts are land where people live. We live right here. (Point to where you live.) In our Bible lesson today, we heard how we can Go and tell other people all over the world about a very special person. Do you remember who that was?

April Weeks 4 and 5 ACTIVITY 3 - All Pass the Globe Children will take turns catching the globe while practicing their memory verse. What You Need: Inflatable globe Before the Activity: Guide the children to sit in a circle. Say the verse as a class. During the activity: Using your hand, toss the ball to a child and have them say the verse. Then encourage them to toss it back to you. Continue tossing the ball to all of the children and encouraging them to say the verse each time. At the end of the activity: Say the verse together one last time. Tell the children that they should tell people all around the world about Jesus. Before the Activity: Everyone come and sit in a circle with me. (Hold up the globe.) Our lesson today told us that we should tell everyone EVERYWHERE about Jesus. This is a globe. (Hold up.) A globe is a model of the world that we live in! During the Activity: Let s practice our memory verse. I am going to toss the ball to you and when I do I want you to say our verse. Are you ready? (Pause.) Here we go! (Toss the ball to each child and help them say the verse.) God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son, John 3:16. (Repeat several times.) After the Activity: Awesome job! Do you know why I chose to play with a ball that has the whole world on it? (Pause.) God wants us to tell people that Jesus wants to be their friend forever, all around the world. He wants people who live in all of the countries of the world to be His friend! He wants us to tell EVERYONE that Jesus wants to be their friend! God loves us so much that He sent us Jesus! We should tell everyone that Jesus is the BEST! Who is the best? Jesus is the best!

ACTIVITY 4 4 s/5 s only Stop and Go Children will play a fun game of Red Light, Green Light. What You Need: No Supplies Needed Have the children form a line about 15 feet away from the leader. The leader faces away from the children and says, Go. At this point the children are allowed to move towards the leader. At any point, the leader may say Stop and turn around. If any of the children are caught moving after this has occurred, they are out. The game resumes when the leader turns back around and says Go. The first player to touch the leader wins the game and earns the right to be the leader for the next game. What To Say: Before the activity: We are going to play a fun game called Stop and Go. It is very similar to Red Light/Green Light, have you played that game before? (Pause) Great! You will walk towards me when I say Go and stop and freeze when you hear me stay Stop. You have to stand really still when I say Stop and freeze in place. The first one to make it to me without moving earns the right to be the leader in round two of the game. After the activity: Who told us to Go? (Pause) Yes! You are right, Jesus told us to GO and tell everyone about His love for us. Can you think of someone that you would like to tell about Jesus love? (Pause) God wants us to go and tell EVERYONE that Jesus wants to be their friend, too! God loves us so much that He sent us Jesus! We should tell everyone that Jesus is the BEST! Who is the best? What You Need: World stress ball that fits in the palm of your hand Sit in a circle with the children. Ask one child to sit in the middle of the circle and close his eyes while you secretly give the globe to another child. The child with the globe should hold it in his hand and put both hands behind his back. Instruct the rest of the children to put both of their hands behind their backs as well. Ask the child sitting in the middle of the circle, whose eyes are closed, to open them and try and guess: Where is the world? (The person holding the globe will most likely give it away with his facial expressions!) Before the activity: Come here, everyone, and sit in a circle with me. I have a fun game for us to play! This is a globe of the world. (Hold up the globe.) We re going to use our globe to play a game. Everyone will get a turn sitting in the middle of the circle. The person in the middle will close his eyes while I secretly give the globe to someone else in our circle. When the person in the middle opens his eyes, he has to guess where is the globe. You ll get the hang of it once we start playing. During the activity: Now I need one person to sit in the middle of our circle. How about (say child s name)? Okay, you sit in the middle and close your eyes for just a minute while I give the globe to one of our friends. No peeking! (Give the globe to a child.) I need everyone to put their hands behind their back like this. (Demonstrate.) I think we re ready! Open your eyes and tell me: WHERE S THE WORLD? Before the Activity: Our Bible lesson today told us that Jesus wants us to tell everyone about Him. During the Activity: (Give each child an Activity Page and four stickers.) This is a picture of the world. Do you see happy people all over the world? (Pause and point.) Yes! These people know that Jesus is the best! Now put a sticker on top of each happy face on your page. Happy people know that Jesus is the best! After the Activity: Nice job! Jesus wants us to tell EVERYONE that He is the BEST, just like the people in our lesson today did! Who is the best? Jesus is the best!

SMALL GROUP Small Group Time What you Need: Parent Take Home Card, Playdoh, People Cookie Cutters, Rolling Pins, and Sticker Roll SGL: Look at these cookie cutters. They are people cookie cutters! Let s use them to make some people. Our lesson today had something to do with people, do you remember what it was? (Pause) Yes! Jesus told His friends to tell everyone everywhere how much He loves them! Jesus wants every person in the whole wide world to be His friend forever. Jesus really is the best! Who is the best? CHILDREN and SGL: Jesus is the best! (Give each child four Jesus Loves You stickers.) (Hold up one Jesus Loves You stickers.) These stickers say, Jesus loves you! You can give them to anyone anywhere so they will know Jesus loves them and wants to be their friend forever! I think that s awesome! And today, I m going to pray and ask God to give us the courage to do what Jesus told us to do and tell everyone everywhere that He loves them. Ok, it s time to review our lesson. I am going to ask you some questions and you will get a sticker for answering them. I have some really cool stickers today. Are you ready? (Pause.) Great! (Ask the children the questions from the Parent Take Home Cards. You can also make up additional questions from our video lesson. Don t forget to ask them to say their memory verse for another sticker. You can repeat the same questions over and over as repetition is good for preschoolers.) You are such great listeners! Now I ll pray before it s time to say goodbye until next week. (Read the prayer on the back of the Parent Take Home Card. )
