PENGENALAN introduction M ayasan Pembangunan Ekonomi Islam Malaysia (YaPEIM) adalah sebuah yayasan yang ditubuhkan oleh Kerajaan Persekutuan pada 13 Oktober 1976 dan diperbadankan di bawah Trustees (Incorporation) Act 1952. Y alaysia Islamic Economic Development Foundation (YaPEIM) was established by the Federal Government of Malaysia on October 13th 1976 and incorporated under the Trustees (Incorporation) Act 1952. Bagi menggerakkan potensi dan meluaskan peranannya, YaPEIM telah disusun dan dilancarkan semula pada 20 Julai 1984 oleh Y.A.B. Perdana Menteri Malaysia pada masa itu. YaPEIM was restructured and re-launched on July 20th 1984 by the Honourable Prime Minister of Malaysia at that time in order to mobilize its potentials and widen its roles.

PROFIL KORPORAT Corporate Profile PENTADBIRAN YaPEIM YaPEIM s administration Y.A.B Perdana Menteri Malaysia Y.A.B. Perdana Menteri adalah penaung rasmi YaPEIM dengan diperuntukkan kuasa tertentu di bawah Suratikatan YaPEIM. Bagi melicinkan pentadbiran YaPEIM, Y.A.B Perdana Menteri meminta Y.B. Menteri Di Jabatan Perdana Menteri/Y.B. Timbalan Menteri Di Jabatan Perdana Menteri memantau perjalanan YaPEIM. Lembaga Pemegang Amanah YaPEIM ditadbir oleh sebuah Lembaga Pemegang Amanah (LPA) yang dilantik oleh Y.A.B Perdana Menteri Malaysia. LPA YaPEIM adalah terdiri daripada tokoh serta pakar di dalam pelbagai bidang. Ketua Pengarah YaPEIM adalah Setiausaha LPA YaPEIM. Nota : PANEL PERUNDING / JAWATANKUASA KHAS Pengurusan YaPEIM juga diperkukuhkan oleh Panel Perunding/ Jawatankuasa Khas yang memberi nasihat dan buah fikiran terhadap perancangan dan perjalanan YaPEIM dari semasa ke semasa. Pengurusan Pengurusan YaPEIM diterajui oleh seorang Ketua Eksekutif yang bertaraf Ketua Pengarah dan dibantu oleh pasukan pengurusan, pegawai dan staf yang mempunyai pengalaman, kebolehan dalam pelbagai bidang dan komited dalam usaha memantapkan lagi perancangan dan perjalanan YaPEIM. The Honourable Prime Minister Of Malaysia The Honourable Prime Minister is the official patron of YaPEIM with certain power governed by YaPEIM s Trust Deed. To ensure a smooth running of YaPEIM s administration, the Honourable Prime Minister has requested the Y.B. Minister in the Prime Minister s Department/Y.B Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister s Department to monitor the activities of YaPEIM. Board Of Trustees YaPEIM is administered by a Board of Trustees appointed by the Honourable Prime Minister. They comprise of prominent individuals with expertise in multiple disciplines. The Director General of YaPEIM acts as the Secretary to the Board. Note : CONSULTATIVE PANEL / SPECIAL COMMITTEE YaPEIM s Management is also strengthened by a Consultative Panel/Special Committee which from time to time, advises YaPEIM on its planning and operations. Management The Management Team is led by a Chief Executive, whose status is equivalent to a Director General, strongly backed by an experienced, capable and committed Management Team and officers in various areas and are committed in our initiative to strengthen the YaPEIM's planning and endeavours. 10
