This may help explain irregular forms like ע יר city but plural *ʿiyar-.ע ר יםʿārīm īm > ʿiarīm > = Piel complete, bring to an end, finish under BDB 477a, 478a. Note כלה apocopation with waw-consecutive. Hiphil infinitive construct. The infinitive construct עלה Pause to note form מהעלות. וֹת verbs generally end with ה of 3 rd... ויבר Interesting to note that not only does Yhwh bless but a human king can bless. (6:19) distribute. = Niphal divide under BDB 323b. Here Piel so divide, חלק 242a. sound, murmur, roar, crowd, abundance under BDB = ה מוֹן I am a little surprised by the compound preposition here. 7 This is worth noting. Sacrifices are not all or even mostly consumed by fire. The priests and/or worshipers share the food and drink. For the most part sacrifices are part of a ritual meal. That (קרה = II encounter, befall (apparently a form of קרא appears as קרא in this text does it indicate anything about the dialect in which the story is composed? = PNf כבדת be heavy, weighty, burdensome, honored under BDB 457a.
