When a child answers a review question, let him reach in the bag and pull out one picture and place it on the red cross. If it is placed in the proper place, he will earn 1,000 points for his team. If it is put in the wrong place, he loses 500 points for his team, and the picture must be put back in the bag. The object of the game is to place all the furniture in the proper order, forming a cross. Rita Lobdell, CEF OF EASTERN PA, INC. Review questions for TABERNACLE #6: 1. MEMORY VERSE HELPS THE TABERNACLE LESSON #6 The High Priest John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me. (The underlined portion of the verse indicates what the younger children should memorize.) USE the visual and let the children read the verse with you. READ the verse from your Bible while holding the visual so the children can follow along. DO MOTIONS together with the children while you EXPLAIN the verse as follows: John 14:6 (Hold hands as an open Bible.) Jesus saith unto him, I am the Way, (Raise one finger.) the Truth, (Raise two fingers.) and the Life; (Raise three fingers.) no man cometh unto the Father, (Shake head no and cross hands back and forth in front of you. Then point toward Heaven.) but by Me. (Make cross with pointer fingers.) John 14:6 (Hold hands as an open Bible.) This is the address (where the verse is located in the Bible). This verse is found in the book of John, chapter 14, verse 6. Jesus is saying that He is the only way to get to Heaven. Jesus is God s perfect Son. He could never lie. Everything He said was true. Jesus is the only One who can give us life forever with God in Heaven when our life on earth is over. No one can go to Heaven where God lives on their own. You can t buy your way into Heaven with money. Doing good things, being baptized, or going to church will not get you to God. The only way is by trusting Jesus to be your personal Saviour. The book of John, chapter 14, verse 6. DRILL the verse with the activity listed on the Tabernacle #6 Agenda. TEST the children for their understanding of the verse. What is one name Jesus calls Himself in this verse? What is the only way to Heaven? CHILD EVANGELISM FELLOWSHIP OF EASTERN PA, INC. P.O. BOX 4375 HARRISBURG, PA 17111-0375

GO AND TELL BOX Week #20 Who are the Snavelys? (Suggested item to put in the Go and Tell Box picture of bird.) What do you think a bird has to do with going and telling? (Let the children share their ideas.) The bird tells me something interesting about our missionary from when he was a boy. Listen closely, and you will find out why. WHO ARE THE SNAVELYS? (Use WHO wordstrip.) This week we will begin to talk about Mr. and Mrs. Mike Snavely. We will call them Mr. Mike and Mrs. Carrie. (Show their picture.) Mr. Mike was born in South Africa, where he lived with his parents, who were also missionaries. His father was a missionary pilot. Mr. Mike asked Jesus to be his Saviour when he was a child. Life was always an adventure for Mr. Mike because he was fascinated with animals and would bring different ones home as pets. Some of them included: monkeys, birds, chamaeleons, and snakes. Mr. Mike uses his interest and the knowledge that he has learned about God s creatures when he speaks to people about God, the awesome Creator. Mrs. Carrie was born and grew up near Hershey, Pennsylvania. She was raised in a Christian home and asked Jesus to be her Saviour when she was just ten years old. As a teenager, she grew in her faith and later attended Lancaster Bible College. Mr. Mike and Mrs. Carrie now live in Jonestown, Pennsylvania which is not far from Hershey. They will be moving soon into a new home where they can have more rooms for their missionary projects. LET S PRAY FOR OUR MISSIONARIES. THANK God for the Snavelys and for their willingness to serve as missionaries, telling people about our wonderful creator God. PRAY that Mr. Mike will have wisdom as he prepares lessons to teach about creation. ASK God to help Mrs. Carrie as she schedules their teaching meetings.
