Baking Season! It s the most wonderful time of the year! Cookies, sugar plums, chestnuts and hot chocolate! December is going to be an amazing time for our residents and our Activity Coordinator and Chef have announced that we will be making a Wizard of Oz themed gingerbread house! Stay tuned for times and dates when we will be putting this elaborate project together because we need all of our residents to help us create this masterpiece! The Lunch Bunch! Every Monday at 12 p.m., meet your fellow residents in the lobby for a special lunch outing! We like to hit all of the restaurants around town! From Elmer s to Shari s and Mexico Lindo to Ixtapa, we have been everywhere! If there is a special restaurant you would like to visit, let Alyssa know where you would like to go and we will put it on one of our Monday lunch outings for everyone to enjoy!

Carousel Museum in Albany We had way too much fun at the Carousel Museum in Albany and we plan on going again VERY soon! This museum opened very recently and residents kept telling their Activities Coordinator that they simply had to go check it out! What a success this was and we even got residents to ride on the carousel! Each horse and animal are hand-carved and painted inside of the museum and we got to see some of the museum s soon-to-be creations come to life!

Mini-Golf... In the Hallway?! What? You have never heard of playing mini-golf in a hallway?! Well, it s possible because we make it happen here at Stoneybrook! Every Tuesday at 3 p.m. you may or may not hear a knock on your door from your Activity Coordinator to play a couple rounds of mini-golf with you! Woof Woof! Puppies and residents galore! We love when our furry little friends come to visit us! From small dogs to big dogs, we have it all!

Goodbye, Fall... Hello, Winter! As we transition from the breezy fall leaves to the cold winter nights, we reminisce about all of our harvest adventures we had in the last two months! It s bittersweet to think we were painting pumpkins, drinking apple cider and baking homemade pumpkin bread not too long ago. Here are some of our many fall adventures! Stay tuned for our winter outings and pictures that will be featured in next month s calendar!

Flower Arranging With Donna Every month we have our incredible flower arranger Donna who brings in delicate flowers to create beautiful bouquets with our residents! This event only happens once a month and will occur on the first Tuesday of each month! Stay tuned for our next flower arranging class, you will not want to miss it.
