Picnic at the Beach Simon Peter said to some of the other disciples, I am going fishing. We ll go with you, his friends said. They right away got into a boat to go fishing, and that night they caught nothing. When the morning came, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples didn t know that it was Him. Then Jesus asked them, Do you have any fish? They answered that they hadn t caught any. And He said to them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and you will find the fish. They did what He had said, and the net was so full and heavy with large number of fish that they couldn t pull it in. As soon then as they made it to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish being cooked, and some bread. Come and dine, Jesus said to them. Then none of the disciples dared ask Him, Who are you? because now they knew it was the Lord. Jesus then gave them the bread and fish to eat. So when they had eaten, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, do you love Me more than these? Simon Peter answered, Yes, Lord, You know that I love You. Jesus said to him, Feed my lambs.
