WE'RE OFF TO CUBA! By now everyone has received information and the itinerary for our Temple trip to Cuba in November. Because of the interest already shown about this trip, we expect it will be oversubscribed. Temple members will only have priority status for reservations if we receive their deposits by MAY 15. After May 15, we will fill in any remaining spaces with friends of members who have been placed on a waiting list. Deposits received from Temple members after May 15 will be placed on the waiting list in order of the date upon which they are received. If you need an another copy of the itinerary and the reservation form, please call the Temple office, 201-333-4229. If you have any questions, please call Sandy Frank at 908-273-5152, after 5:00 pm on weekdays or on the weekend. HAPPy BIRTHDAY TO FANNY TILTON! Our devoted member and dear friend, Fanny Tilton, will celebrate her 100th Birthday on May 10, 2002. Unfortunately, Fanny's health will not allow her to make the trip back to Jersey City from the nursing home in Philadelphia where she now resides to celebrate this milestone with her Temple family. We are certain that Fanny would appreciate receiving cards and notes, as well as phone calls from her friends at the Temple. Her address and phone number are available in the Temple office. Also, her family is planning a party in Fanny's honor on Saturday, May 11 in Willingboro, NJ to which they have invited Fanny's friends in Jersey City. If you would like more information about this party, please speak to the Rabbi.
