THERPASTORHUSBANDFRIENDLEADERBROTHER FATHERPASTORHUSBANDFRIENDLEADERBROTHER FATHERPASTORHUSB DEBORAHPOWE Greg was more than what he knew. He feverishly pursued God and His purposes. Was he extreme? Yes, because he did not know how to be otherwise. He believed so much in living life and getting everything out of it that he could. Once he got saved, Greg looked at the Word of God as the most prized treasure. He felt and operated like a kid in a candy store with no restraints. He lived life to the full, in full throttle, peddle to the medal, no holds barred. PROGRAM Processional Invocation Pastor Ken Witten Old Testament Reading Greg encouraged us to live the same way. He didn t believe in wasting time because he viewed it as our biggest asset. He used to say, You can always get more money, but you can t get more time. New Testament Reading Words of Comfort Bishop Clifford Johnson Greg always was enthusiastic about the Word he preached. He believed, this time is going to change somebody s life. This time, someone is going to be set free. This time, they are going to get it. When talking about each message, he said, This IS the answer! Sometimes disappointed, he would say, Deborah, if they would just do what I say, their lives will change for the better. Songs of Celebration Video Tribute Special Acknowledgements Pastor Gregory Powe Jr. Greg believed so much in the love of God for him that even if he was wrong, God would make it right because he spoke out of the integrity of his heart. And, God honored what he taught, and those who listened were most blessed. Greg labored feverishly to lay a good, strong foundation for Revealing Truth Ministries. You often heard him say, I feel like we are just at the beginning. Sometimes, I wondered, Are we still at the beginning? But, I know that the first stage of building a strong house begins with a strong foundation. If the foundation is not correct, you must tear it up and pour again. Musical Tribute Eulogy Recessional Officiated by Dr. Creflo A. Dollar Pastor George Matthews II I believe that Greg knew he laid a sturdy foundation just as Paul had spoken of, and he prepared you, just as he prepared this family, to move forward with the vision.

ATHERPASTORHUSBANDFRIENDLEADERBROTHER FATHERPASTORHUSBANDFRIENDLEADERBROTHER FATHERPASTORHUSB GREGPOWEBIOGRAPHY Greg Powe, Senior Founding Pastor Revealing Truth Ministries Christian Center With a vision of meeting the needs of people with truth, Pastor Powe and his wife Deborah moved to Tampa with their four children in 1990. Five months later, they co-founded Revealing Truth Ministries and started services in a rented facility with just their family. More than 26 years later, Revealing Truth Ministries (RTM) has grown to one of the largest churches in the Tampa Bay area with a beautiful campus and more than 30 ministries that not only actively serve the members and their families but also meet the needs of those in local nursing homes, jails, domestic violence shelters and strip clubs. Additionally, Revealing Truth Ministries has extended its reach beyond the Tampa Bay area with campuses in Wesley Chapel, FL; Fort Meyers, FL; Ocala, FL; and Honolulu, HI. Pastor Powe s heart and passion to equip leaders led to the formation of Greg Powe Ministries (GPM), the outreach division of RTM. GPM represents Pastor Powe s dedication to serving others by establishing long-term relationships. This commitment results from Pastor Powe s growth as a spiritual son of Pastor Creflo Dollar for more than 30 years. Throughout his life, Pastor Powe has served the man that God placed in his life to develop him as a Godly man, husband, father, pastor and leader. Through Greg Powe Ministries, Pastor Powe equips pastors and leaders, nationally and internationally, with the wisdom needed to accomplish their God-given assignment. Each year, Pastor Powe travels throughout the US and abroad to assist pastors and leaders in building foundations for their ministries and businesses that foster hope and positive change throughout their communities. Utilizing his 30 years in ministry as a pastor, visionary and administrator, Pastor Powe has been a spiritual father and mentor to those within and outside of Tampa Bay. His global commitment to sharing the gospel, imparting vision and building strong leaders is evidenced by his repeated trips to the Caribbean, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Holland, the Ukraine, Norway and England. Pastor Powe wholeheartedly believes in investing in future generations, so he established Embracing Legacy to reach youth in the Tampa Bay area. Embracing Legacy seeks to reach 1,000 children each week through various artistic, athletic and academic program; it is home to the Mighty Marching Lions, a marching band that performs in local parades, athletic events and governmental events. In addition to traveling to Nassau, Bahamas, each summer for the past six years, the Lions have had the honor of playing at a governmental event for a former president. With each sermon taught, meeting conducted, partnership created, board joined, relationship established and organization formed, Pastor Powe has sought to impact people for Jesus Christ for generations. Pastor Powe is most appreciative of having his wife of 40 years, Deborah Powe, along with their four children and their spouses, Gregory and Rashonda Powe; Bryan and Rashida Powe; Christopher and Ashley Powe; and Rickey and Chrystle Jones, serve with him in sharing the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ with others. Pastor Powe also loved his daughter Tamura Parks who resides in Mobile, Alabama with her husband Alexander. Pastor Powe has authored more than 30 books, taught thousands of messages, traveled hundreds of thousands of miles and prayed for countless people to fulfill his God-given assignment. CREFLOANDTAFFIDOLLAR Dr. Creflo A. Dollar, Senior Founding Pastor World Changers International Church Pastor Greg Powe was and still is my spiritual son who served, loved, and taught me many amazing truths from his life and personal relationship with God the Father. One of his most amazing attributes was his love walk with people and his intense passion to obey the voice of God. I have seen Pastor Powe through his love; cause the hardness of men to breakdown in tears as they accepted Jesus as their Lord and personal savor. Men who had never been told that they were loved were embraced and loved by Greg Powe. To me it would seem like Greg was always on the hunt to snatch people out of hell and escort them into heaven. I ve never met a man who was so convinced that people could do better if they knew better. His witness for God was consistent, intense, bold, loving, diligent and always with excellence; for he knew that he was an ambassador for the kingdom of God. The source of Pastor Powe s faith was undoubtedly the voice of God. If God said it, that s all my son needed to hear to put action to what he heard. The cost of obeyeing was never questioned and God would always honor his faith with results. Rest well mighty general of God. Well-done, good and faithful servant. Taffi and I love you and what an amazing honor for us to have known and loved such a might general of love and faith Thanks for always being there Doc! Creflo A. Dollar
