Don t know what I m talking about? - Grab the flier in the foyer and show your support for our investment in transforming lives in 2018! The Kitchen board has the latest update. Pledged so far for 2018 - $138,200 Hospitality Fund raising so far - $16,500 White Ribbon Day Paul Clark and Kerri-Anne Dooley have been on the team preparing this year s White Ribbon Day march from Rotary Park on Redcliffe Parade to the Mon Komo. Paul is this year s MC. If you would like to join them to show our Church s support for the message of No to violence against Woman come to Rotary Park on Friday 24th Nov at 8:30am in your Redcliffe t-shirt! The morning includes morning tea at Mon Komo and a performance by "Vixens of Fall Free Sewing Machine I have a free sewing machine, which is in good condition, to give away to a refugee family. Welcome BBQ Have you joined the church since our last Welcome BBQ? If you haven t been to a welcome BBQ, the answer is Yes! We re having a BBQ after worship to welcome new folk. Make sure we have your name and details to get an invite - fill in the Welcome Card' - or simply come along! Sunday 26th November, after worship and morning tea. Car Boot Sale We want to congratulate the team that organised the Car Boot Sales [and the Garage Sales before that] for the amazing job they have done over the last decade raising funds for the church. We salute them! They have my blessing to take a well earned break and see what God does next. Robert Baker is going to investigate a couple of Bunnings BBQ s to support the new Youth Worker role for 2018 - but the group are happy to pass the baton onto anyone else who would like to organise fund raises! Paul Clark Snapshot Sunday In November we ask everyone who turns up to worship to fill in a simple Snap Shot Survey to help us with our planning! Please do this for your children as well. For the first time you can also do this on the APP and Website. Look for Snap Shot Survey in the News section. Paper forms should be in your newsletter or in the Foyer. Community Christmas Lunch Every year, in partnership with MBRIT and Moreton Bay Regional Council, we provide 300 places for the lonely and hurting to enjoy Christmas lunch together. If you are free to help bring some cheers, or you are looking for somewhere to go for Christmas, details are in the foyer. Name Badges Joy Harris will be taking orders for name badges today (12th). Project Manager Position The HUB Project Group met last Saturday, and seeing the huge amount of work to do in the Research Phase to gather the financial, partnership, building, government information - so Church Council & the Congregation can make a responsible/informed Go/No-Go decision mid 2018 - they recommended to Church Council that we employ a Project Manager, two days a week, for the next 6 months. The funds have already been allocated to this from the RUCF. The position will be advertised in SEEK, through our networks and on our website. 4KQ Christmas Lights Tour with Kangaroo Bus Lines Come join us this year as we travel to the winning 4QK Christmas Lights Displays throughout the northern Brisbane suburbs. A light supper will be served at RUC with Christmas treats for all.
