Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed. OUR PRAYERS RISE LIKE INCENSE July 23, 2017 This summer, Seton Sunday offers a weekly prayer related to a ministry in our parish or diocese with companion materials in a perforated, pull-out flyer on the last inside page. This week, as we hear about the upcoming Living Waters program at all Masses, we offer information about healing in the context of the Church. Healing is woven into the life of our parish. Our Prayer Chain is a network of parishioners committed to praying for the sick, the dying, and those who share their individual needs with the parish. Our Parish Shawl Ministry provides tangible signs of our parish s caring for those experiencing life events both sorrowful, such as illness, and joyous, such as Baptism. Our Freedom from Overeating group supports healing from damaged body image beliefs and unhealthy practices. Seasons of Hope and our Caregivers Group offer support and encouragement. Parishioners dedicated to The Divine Mercy devotion pray the chaplet at the bedside of those whose earthly lives are ending. Day Seven Ministries offers more formal counseling for a variety of needs. Visit www.steas.net/healing or stop by the Welcome Desk for more details and contact information.

For more information, visit www.steas.net/mens-retreat or call Joseph Bytof, 717-432-4911. MOST OF US know of someone or are that someone who provides care for a family member, neighbor, or friend. Caregivers often say they are simply doing what needs to be done. However, this service can leave little time for relaxation, spiritual renewal or connecting with others. The 4th Annual Caregivers Day of Prayer and Care honors these very special men and women on Saturday, October 28, at Trinity High School, Camp Hill. Visit: www.caregiversdayofprayerandcare.org. OPENINGS AT GOOD SHEPHERD SCHOOL Teacher Aide: Qualified candidates should have experience working with students in an educational setting, although a teaching certificate is not required. The position begins on the first day of school, Monday, August 21. After-school Coordinator: Responsibilities include coordinating activities, supervising after-school care staff, and ordering snacks and supplies for the program. The After-school Care Coordinator position is part-time with roughly 20 hours per week of responsibilities. Compensation will be commensurate with experience. For more information, call Loretta 717-737-7551, or Mary Ann 717-564-7709. NEXT WEEKEND is our parish Mission Project Weekend. If you are new to the parish, here s what that means: Our parish has the opportunity to share our blessings with Saint Francis of Assisi Parish in Harrisburg. Our donations provide important resources that enable Saint Francis to minister to those in need in its community. To contribute, place your donations in the Mission Project Donations slots at the collection centers at either side of the narthex, or at the Hertzler Road entrance. OUR NURSERY IS OPEN DURING 9 AM MASS this summer. The nursery is a great ministry for young families, so parents and older siblings can worship more attentively at Mass. Is this loving ministry for you? Volunteers are needed to staff childcare during two Sunday Masses this fall. Clearances are required; we can provide information and help you through the process. Contact Kristen at nursery@steas.net. SENIOR LUNCHEON & MOVIE Join us at 11 am on July 27 for the inspiring Miracles from Heaven. Based on a true story. Ten-year-old daughter Anna has a rare, incurable disease. After she has a freak accident, an extraordinary miracle unfolds. Contact Colleen, 717-766-2396, or Jeannie, 717-737-8600, with your reservation. YOUR DONATIONS WILL SAVE THE LIVES OF UP TO 93 PATIENTS! The Central PA Blood Bank shared the good news about what they called an amazing turnout here on Sunday. They registered 37 donors and collected 31 pints of blood much needed, because the blood bank has a shortage at the moment. Thank you for your support of this important community service! SPONSOR OF THE WEEK We wish to thank CATHOLIC MATCH PENNSYLVANIA for sponsoring an ad in our weekly bulletin.
