Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed. OUR PRAYERS RISE LIKE INCENSE July 23, 2017 This summer, Seton Sunday offers a weekly prayer related to a ministry in our parish or diocese with companion materials in a perforated, pull-out flyer on the last inside page. This week, as we hear about the upcoming Living Waters program at all Masses, we offer information about healing in the context of the Church. Healing is woven into the life of our parish. Our Prayer Chain is a network of parishioners committed to praying for the sick, the dying, and those who share their individual needs with the parish. Our Parish Shawl Ministry provides tangible signs of our parish s caring for those experiencing life events both sorrowful, such as illness, and joyous, such as Baptism. Our Freedom from Overeating group supports healing from damaged body image beliefs and unhealthy practices. Seasons of Hope and our Caregivers Group offer support and encouragement. Parishioners dedicated to The Divine Mercy devotion pray the chaplet at the bedside of those whose earthly lives are ending. Day Seven Ministries offers more formal counseling for a variety of needs. Visit www.steas.net/healing or stop by the Welcome Desk for more details and contact information.
