Praying Together for Peace, Safety and Strength for Israel We are fortunate to be celebrating Global Shabbat joyously as communities across the BBYO International Order. However, there are communities in the world that are not as privileged as we are today including areas within our Jewish Homeland who have recently experienced violence and instability. Let us take a moment to think about the peaceful existence of people of all faiths and backgrounds in Israel, and pray for their strength and safety. Alternative Prayer for the Peace and People of Israel Our Divine Guardian, Rock and Redeemer of Israel, bless the State of Israel, the beginning of our redemption. Shield it beneath the wings of Your steadfast love and spread over it the shelter of Your peace. May a spark of Your spirit inspire the actions of its President, Prime Minister, officials, judges and advisors that they may follow the path of righteousness, liberty and freedom.
