Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church The Way of the Kingdom is the Way of the Cross. O Come, O Come Emmanuel We are thankful that you have chosen to spend December 17, 2017, with us, celebrating the Third Sunday of Advent.
Rest In Peace Our sincerest sympathies go to the family and friends of Mildred Ford and Joanne Cericola. May their souls, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen. The Altar Breads & Wine for this week were donated in loving memory of Lenard and Richard Pollard The Sanctuary Candle for this week was donated in loving memory of Victor and Ethel Del Santo Rejoice always, pray constantly, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 This scripture reading sums up Stewardship. Rejoice always means place your trust in God; He will provide all that you need. Pray constantly means prayer should be a running conversation with God throughout the whole day, every day. Give thanks in all circumstances means even in bad situations, thank God. Suffering a little bit helps build empathy for others in similar situations. The Solemnity of Mary Is Not A Holy Day of Obligation in 2018. Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 1st at 11:00AM. The Way of the Kingdom is the Way of the Cross. Following Jesus does not mean participating in a triumphal procession! It means sharing his merciful love, entering into his great work of mercy for each person, and for all mankind. This forgiveness passes through the cross. ~ Pope Francis Christmas Mass Schedule CHRISTMAS EVE Sunday, December 24th 4:00PM 6:00PM Midnight CHRISTMAS DAY Monday, December 25th 9:00AM 11:00AM Senior ladies and gents, bring your holiday spirit and join us for our Christmas Season Luncheon.
