TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH Lake Norden, SD A Member Congregation of the NALC Church Office: 785-3277 http://trinityln.org July 2013 Newsletter www.thenalc.org Email: trinityc@itctel.com Welcome Pastor Mark & Cindy Jamison! Pastor Mark Jamison has officially accepted a call to Trinity Lutheran and Badger Lutheran Church. His first Sunday will be July 7, 2013. We look forward to having Pastor Jamison minister to our congregations and pray for God s blessings on Pastor Jamison and his wife Cindy. Greetings to you the members of Trinity Lutheran in the name of Jesus Christ. We look forward to moving to Lake Norden, on July 1. We are excited to begin our partnership in the Gospel of God's grace with you. Thank you for calling us to be your Pastor. My recovery from cancer surgery continues to go well. I feel a little better and stronger each week. To help Cindy and I learn your names, I need your help. Will you tell us your names or wear name tags those first few Sundays in July? Also tell us of people who could use a pastoral visit right away. My goal is to be able to visit each family in their home, but I'd like to have a feeling for the most urgent visits at the start of our ministry with you. Please pray for us as we put on the final touches of our packing and for our move that all will go well. That first week I will split my time between unpacking at the home and at the office. If nothing else, we will see you at the community service on July 7. God's peace and love to you, Pastor Mark and Cindy Jamison

A Creed for July 4th I believe in America because in it we are free - free to choose our government, to speak our minds, to choose our different religions. Because we are generous with our freedom, we share our rights with those who disagree with us. Because we hate no people and covet no people's lands. Because we are blessed with a natural and varied abundance. Because we have great dreams and because we have the opportunity to make those dreams come true. -Wendell L.
