The Martin Family In 1943, Judy age 14, was introduced by her mother, Florence May Sharpe, to her father Jack Martin at his workplace which was a western clothing store. The address she recalled was 104 St. and Jasper Ave. Henderson s Directory recorded Jack/John Martin in an apartment at 10148-104th St. one block off Jasper Ave for several years. While researching locations of old stores on that street I found Great West Saddlery directly across the street from where he lived. Jack listed his occupation as salesman and clerk for the majority of the years he was in Henderson s list. Other clues given to us were that Jack Martin was a twin and his heritage was Pennsylvania Dutch.
