NMI: Nazarene Missions International Mrs. Becky Hancock, President 504 W. Angela Circle Goodlettsville, TN 37072 E-mail: mhbethel1@juno.com Summer is a busy time in the church locally, on the district, and this year, on the global scene in Indianapolis! We have calendars full with VBS, camps, conventions, and assemblies. Hopefully, a vacation is in there somewhere. I appreciate the way we come together for all these events. July 9-10 are Red Letter Days for Tennessee NMI! Be there with David and Shelly Webb, our missionary speakers from Costa Rica. We will be trying something new with several workshops being offered on convention day. Please make sure YOUR church sends your pastor, NMI president and some others to bring the inspiration back home to your folks. The children s Missions Jamboree was a joy as over 75 children learned about our Cuba partnership on June 1. While they made the flag, they prayed for specific needs. We want to send three more teams (Dates: September 27, December 7, and February 7) this year to finish the work we have started in Camaguey. I hope every church will have a person going to Cuba this year! The Lord will bless your church as you send someone to Cuba with our teams. Nashville First Church was bustling with activity at the Haiti Fest on May 18. These two congregations are partnering for the vision of a medical clinic in Haiti. Pastor Maromy Samuel and his wife are taking a medical team to Haiti this month! Pray for them and let others who are in the medical profession know of this special project that is continuing there. Many thanks to Trevecca Community, Clarksville First and many other churches across the district for making a way to encourage the tornado victims in Oklahoma! Let s not forget them in this long process of recovery. Making Christlike Disciples in the Nations: our co-mission with our Lord Jesus Christ! May it be so even more in this new church year! Missionaries are coming!
