. Prepared by: Carl Davenport, 2127 Tulip Hill Rd.,Murfreesboro,TN 37127 March 2003 Generation No. 1 1. RICHARD 1 DAVENPORT, SR. was born 1642, and died Abt. December 1713 in Perquimans County, NC. He married JOHANNA?. Notes for RICHARD DAVENPORT, SR.: The children of Richard Davenport and wife Johannah are listed with their birth dates in the book Old Albemarle County, North Carolina: Perquimans Precinct Births, Marriages, Deaths and Flesh Marks 1659-1820. In a court record in 1708 Richard gives his age as 66. Richard owned land at the mouth of the Yeopim Creek and Albemarle Sound. The exact time that Richard came to NC is uncertain. He appears as a witness on a deed September 26, 1681. A deposition he gave November 27, 1708 indicates he knew a Thomas Harris who, according to some sources, died in NC in 1665. Other sources suggest this Thomas Harris died sometime between 1669-1675. Whatever the date of Thomas' death, Richard must have been in NC before that date. Where Richard came from is unknown. The date of Richard's death is sometime between November 6, 1713 and January 10, 1714. Children of RICHARD DAVENPORT and JOHANNA? are: i. RICHARD 2 DAVENPORT, JR., b. March 02, 1673/74, Albemarle County, Perquimans Precinct, NC. ii. ELIZABETH DAVENPORT, b. July 03, 1676, Albemarle County, Perquimans Precinct, NC; m. JOHN FOSTER. iii. JOHN DAVENPORT, b. November 03, 1677, Albemarle County, Perquimans Precinct, NC; d. 1749, Tyrrel County, NC; m. ANNE?. iv. SARAH DAVENPORT, b. October 10, 1682, Albemarle County, Perquimans Precinct, NC. 2. v. ISAAC DAVENPORT, b. September 17, 1685, Albemarle County, Perquimans Precinct, NC; d. 1767, Tyrrel County, NC. vi. SUSANNAH DAVENPORT, b. November 18, 1688, Albemarle County, Perquimans Precinct, NC. vii. AGNES DAVENPORT, b. November 17, 1691, Albemarle County, Perquimans Precinct, NC. Generation No. 2 2. ISAAC 2 DAVENPORT (RICHARD 1 ) was born September 17, 1685 in Albemarle County, Perquimans Precinct, NC, and died 1767 in Tyrrel County, NC. He married ELIZABETH HAWKINS, daughter of JAMES HAWKINS. Notes for ISAAC DAVENPORT: Information on the heirs of Isaac comes from a book entitled Tyrrel Estate Records 1734-1900 by Dr. Stephen Bradley. It is an abstract of court records. The division of the Estate of Isaac Davenport lists the heirs as Joel, Isaac, George, Francis, Tamer?, John, daughter Elizabeth and wife Elizabeth and John Snell. The last may be a step son. John and Francis Davenport were both minors. Another abstracted deed from Tyrrel Co. deed book 1, page 201: Isaac Davenport and wife Elizabeth, James Blount and wife Mary, and Thomas Lewis and wife Ann are selling land that belonged to James Hawkins dec'd father of said Elizabeth, Mary and Ann. Date Dec. 6, 1752. Children of ISAAC DAVENPORT and ELIZABETH HAWKINS are: i. JOEL 3 DAVENPORT. ii. ISAAC DAVENPORT. 3. iii. GEORGE DAVENPORT, b. NC; d. 1799, NC. iv. TAMER DAVENPORT. v. ELIZABETH DAVENPORT. vi. FRANCIS DAVENPORT, b. Aft. 1748. vii. JOHN DAVENPORT, b. Aft. 1748. Generation No. 3 3. GEORGE 3 DAVENPORT (ISAAC 2, RICHARD 1 ) was born in NC, and died 1799 in NC. He married SARAH?. Notes for GEORGE DAVENPORT: The names of George's children come from a land deed. Edmon, Isaac and Enoch sell their share in a parcel of land to Absolum, Rebin [Reubin] and Lowes [Lois]. All are said to be heirs of George Davenport. The land sold is reserved for the use of their mother, Sarah, during her life. The deed is dated September 20, 1799. It is in Hyde County, NC. Page 1 of 41

Abt. 1781. Generation No. 4 4. EDMOND 4 DAVENPORT, SR (GEORGE 3, ISAAC 2, RICHARD 1 ) was born Abt. 1766 in NC, and died Bef. 1850 in Warren County, He married (1)? Abt. 1783 in NC. He married (2) ELIZABETH MORGAN Abt. 1838 in Warren County, TN, daughter of JOHN MORGAN and ELIZABETH?. She was born August 20, 1788 in VA, and died Aft. 1870 in Warren County, Notes for EDMOND DAVENPORT, SR: The earliest reference I have to Edmond, where he is mentioned by name is the 1790 census of Hyde County, NC. He is married and has two sons. He is in Pitt County, NC in 1800. He has 2 sons under 10, 1 between 10-16 and 1 16-26. He has 1 daughter under 10. He and his wife are between 26-45. I have been unable to find him listed in the 1810 census. He is listed in the 1820 census in Wilson County, TN, and again in the 1830 census in the same county. He was a land owner in Hyde County before moving to Pitt County. He became a land owner in the 1820s' in the Sanders Fork area of Wilson County. In 1835 he sold land in Wilson County and moved to Warren County. He is listed in the tax records for Warren County in 1836. He is not listed in the 1840 census, but there are two old males in his son Reuben's Household. He is probably one of them. He is not listed in the 1850 census and likely died before 1850. The evidence for a marriage of Edmond Davenport, Sr. and Elizabeth Morgan is circumstantial. Edmond is not listed as head of a household in the 1840 Warren County, TN census. There is a male 80-90 with Reuben in this census. Edmond should be about 86-87. Edmond's wife was 60-70 in the 1830 Cannon County census. There is a 50-60 year old woman in Reuben's household in the 1840 census. She is too young to be the wife that was with Edmond in 1830. I assume Edmond's wife died before 1840. In the 1850 Warren County census an Elizabeth Davenport is living alone next to William and Martha Gilla. John Lemmons [Jr.] lives next to William Gilla [Gilley]. Elizabeth Morgan first married John Lemmons [Sr.]. They had a son named John Lemmons and a daughter named Martha who married William Gilley. Elizabeth Davenport is 61 and was born in VA. Elizabeth Morgan was born in 1788 in VA. Elizabeth Davenport is not found in TN in the 1860 census. In the 1870 census in Warren County, TN she is with Edmond Davenport, son of Reuben. He married Nancy Lemmons the daughter of John and Elizabeth Morgan. John Lemons died in 1828. Elizabeth is head of the household in 1830. Edmond moved to Warren County in 1835. He and Elizabeth must have married sometime between 1835-1840. Janice Price, a descendant of John and Elizabeth Lemmons, said there was a family tradition that said Elizabeth Lemmons married a Davenport. She first said Edmond Davenport and then thought it was Reuben Davenport. I do not think it could be Reuben. His family Bible shows a child born February 25, 1840 who died in August 1840. William O. was born April 7, 1841. These were children by his second wife Ruth Sauls. There is a period between the birth of William O. and Reuben's marriage to Sarah Mattwews May 4, 1847 in which no birth is recorded. The date of Ruth's death is uncertain. It is possible that Reuben married Elizabeth Lemmons during this time and they divorced before his marriage to Sarah Matthews. This, however, does not account for where she was in the 1840 census. Burial: Warren County, TN? Notes for?: I think that Edmond Davenport's wife was the daughter of Francis Galloway. On the 6th of March, 1784, Francis Galloway deeded to his grandson James Davenport all the land and plantation where he lived. In the 1790 census only one family is between Francis Galloway and Edmond Davenport. Edmond appears to be some distance from his father George and Joel the other two Davenport families in Hyde County in 1790. Edmond has one male under 16 at this time. The 1800 census in Pitt County, NC shows Edmond with a son 16-25. This may well be the James to whom Francis Galloway gave the land. I have not found any other information on this James Davenport. Francis Galloway died by October 1794. His son Abraham Galloway was appointed administrator of the estate. The sale of the property was reported in February 1795. The Hyde County, NC court minutes to 1797 have been abstracted and published by Wynette Parks Haun. The final settlement is not contained in these minutes. It may be in the unpublished minutes. (3) SARAH MATHEWS, May 04, 1847, Cannon County; b. May 28, 1830; d. 1914, Rutherford County, Notes for REUBEN DAVENPORT: Reuben became a land owner in Wilson County, TN in the 1820's. In 1835 he sold some, if not all, of his land in Wilson County and moved to Warren County. There are several references to him in sales and inventories in Warren County. He is listed in the 1840 and 1850 censuses in Warren County. Some time in the 1850's he moved back to Canon County. His death date is uncertain. He is not listed in the 1860 census. His wife or widow is listed as head of the household. However, his son William, in a letter written to his wife in 1861 while in the Confederate Army in Kentucky refers to his father as though he were alive. I have no explanation for the problem and have not yet checked the date of the 1860 census to see if it were possibly delayed or completed in 1861. Notes for SUSAN RICHARDSON: Susan died soon after the birth of Edmond or possibly at his birth. Marriage: June 15, 1820, Wilson County, TN More About REUBEN DAVENPORT and RUTH SAULS: Marriage: March 28, 1825, Rutherford County, TN More About REUBEN DAVENPORT and SARAH MATHEWS: Marriage: May 04, 1847, Cannon County v. FRANCES DAVENPORT, b. Abt. 1800, Pitt County, N.C.; d. Abt. 1869, Cannon County, TN; m. JOHN K. SAULS, JR., August 02, 1820, Wilson County, TN; b. 1799; d. 1848, Cannon County, Notes for FRANCES DAVENPORT: Some genealogists include Frances among the children of Absolum. I have not seen the evidence for this. I need to explain why I regard her as the daughter of Edmond. In the 1820 census Edmond has 3 females in addition to his wife in his household. There are also males. I take the three younger females to be his daughters. One is 10-15 years old. Two are 16-25 years old. Absolum has one female in addition to his wife. She is 10-15 years old. In the 1830 census, Edmond has one female in addition to his wife. Absolum has three females in addition to his wife. Two of these are 20-30 years old. The other is five to ten. Absolum had two sons, Wiley and Warren, who married between the two censuses. Wiley is not listed as head of a family in the 1830 census. I am convinced that his family is with Absolum at the time of this census. If so this leaves Absolum with the same daughter listed in the 1820 census. There were two Davenport women, Frances and Sally who married in Wilson County in the 1820's. I understand these to be the two daughters of Edmond who are in the 1820 census but not in the 1830 census. The 1800 census in Pitt County, NC shows Edmond with a daughter under 10. The 1820 census in Wilson County, TN shows 2 daughters 16-25. The wife of John Sauls in the 1830 Rutherford County, TN census is 30-40. In 1840 in Cannon County she is 40-50. The 1850 census gives her age as 56. In 1860 it is 59. With the exception of the 1860 census a birth date of 1800 or earlier is suggested. Notes for JOHN K. SAULS, JR.: There is some disagreement over the daughters of John and Frances Sauls. Genealogy files I have seen give 2, 3, or 4 daughters. The 1830 and 1840 census record support three: 2 born 1821-1825, and 1 born 1826-1830. Rhoda is without doubt their daughter. The 1850, 1860 and 1880 census records place her birth in 1821. Martha who married A. O. Alexander is also recognized by all to be John and Frances' daughter. In the 1860 census, Frances Sauls is living with Thomas and Rhoda Tedder. John Alexander 8, the son of A. O. and Martha, both of whom have died, is also with them. Martha is 20 in the 1850 census and would be the youngest daughter. Nancy, who married Abner D. Alexander, and Caroline, who married Grundy Fann, are the other two who are said to be John Sauls' daughters. The 1850 census gives Nancy's age as 28 which agrees with the 1830 and 1840 censuses. The 1850 census gives Caroline's age as 20 which does not go with the age of the third daughter. John Sauls died early 1848 and Joseph Bryson, Sr. was appointed executor of his estate July 26, 1848 in Cannon County, I have not found a final settlement. The estate was small and may have all been used for provisions for his wife. Page 3 of 41

Cannon County, Tennessee, Deed Book A-L, 1836-1857, as transcribed and published by Thomas E. Partlow, 1998, has the following entries: Thomas Tedder and wife Rhoda, formerly Sauls, to A. D. Alexander their interest in 68 1/2 acres which John K. Sauls died seized and possessed of, 29 May, 1849. pp. 100-101. [p. 127 of Partlow book] Abraham O. Alexander and wife Martha to A. D. Alexander their interest in 68 acres in the 1st district, it being the land that John K. Sauls died seized and possessed of, 31 may 1851, pp. 231-233. p. 151 of the Partlow book} Since writing the above, I have found the settlement of Frances Sauls' estate. The heirs are Rhoda, Nancy and Martha although Nancy and Martha were both dead by the time of the settlement. Caroline was not one of their daughters. More About JOHN SAULS and FRANCES DAVENPORT: Marriage: August 02, 1820, Wilson County, TN vi. SARAH DAVENPORT, b. Bef. 1804, NC; m. WILLIAM BRYSON, July 24, 1825, Wilson County, TN; b. 1804. Notes for SARAH DAVENPORT: The only time I have found this person's name is on the marriage record where she is called Sally. Sally was the common nickname for Sarah at this time. I assume that she was named for her grandmother Sarah, the mother of Edmond. I have been unable to trace this family. There were four William Bryson marriages in Wilson County in a period of about ten years. There is one William Bryson listed as head of a household in the 1830 census and 2 in the 1840 census and none in the 1850 census. I suspect that both Sally and her husband died young or else moved away. I did find evidence that one William Bryson who was joint heir to property in Wilson County had moved to Missouri. I have not found time to follow up on this. More About WILLIAM BRYSON and SARAH DAVENPORT: Marriage: July 24, 1825, Wilson County, TN vii. FEMALE DAVENPORT, b. Aft. 1805, NC. Notes for FEMALE DAVENPORT: This person is listed in the 1820 and 1830 censuses in Wilson County. I have no idea what happened to her. The early marriage records in Warren County, TN were destroyed. If she married, there is no record. She also may have died after the 1830 census. viii. EDMOND DAVENPORT, JR., b. Abt. 1810, NC; d. 1878, Cannon County, TN; m. ELIZABETH WEST, Bef. 1832, Warren County, TN; b. Abt. 1810, NC; d. Abt. 1884, Cannon County, Notes for EDMOND DAVENPORT, JR.: The will has Edward instead of Edmond. His will leaves something to all his children except Lucinda Frances Davenport. This probably means that she died before he made the will. Edmond, Jr. moved from Wilson County, TN to Warren County, TN about 1835. He is listed as head of a household in the 1840 census in Warren County. He moved back to Cannon County before 1850. Will: April 04, 1878, probated September 02, 1878 Notes for ELIZABETH WEST: P. 96, Our Loved Ones, A listing of Tombstones... in Cannon County lists a tombstone in Riverside Cemetery for Elizabeth Davenport, dob: 3/29/1809 dod: 9/28/1817. The date of birth is close to that of Elizabeth. The 1880 census gives her age as 71. The date of death is questionable. If this is the wife of Edmond, she died about 1884. Some genealogies do not have a last name for Elizabeth. I have copied the name from one that did give it and do not know what the evidence for it is. I was told by another person who it was that made the identification, but do not remember her name. Burial: see note Marriage Notes for EDMOND DAVENPORT and ELIZABETH WEST: I have not found any marriage record for Edmond Davenport, Jr. I am guessing he was married in Warren County, The early marriage records there were destroyed. He, his father, and brother Reuben moved to Warren County about 1835. He would have been married before that time but may have married someone already in Warren County. His first child was born in 1832. Page 4 of 41

More About EDMOND DAVENPORT and ELIZABETH WEST: 5. ENOCH 4 DAVENPORT (GEORGE 3, ISAAC 2, RICHARD 1 ) was born Abt. 1773, and died Abt. 1840. He married HANNAH ROLLINS, daughter of CHARLES ROLLINS. Notes for ENOCH DAVENPORT: Pitt County NC deed book LL page 276 dated Nov. 4, 1840 records the division of the land of Enoch Davenport. The children listed are Eatha, wife of Josiah Wynn; Gilly, wife of Calvin Davis, Reuben and Randal or Randolph Clayton Davenport. Children of ENOCH DAVENPORT and HANNAH ROLLINS are: i. EATHA 5 DAVENPORT. ii. GILLY DAVENPORT. iii. REUBEN DAVENPORT. iv. RANDOLPH CLAYTON DAVENPORT. 6. ABSOLUM 4 DAVENPORT (GEORGE 3, ISAAC 2, RICHARD 1 ) was born Abt. 1774 in NC, and died 1853 in Cannon County, He married (1) MARY WARD Bef. 1800 in NC. She was born Abt. 1770, and died Bef. 1840 in Cannon County, He married (2) JANE COULTER Abt. 1837. She was born Abt. 1790, and died Aft. 1860. Notes for ABSOLUM DAVENPORT: The earliest record I have of Absolum is the1799 land deed in Hyde County, NC. in which he is mentioned. The next reference is the 1800 census in Pitt County, NC. He is between 16 and 26. His wife is between 26 and 45. The 1800 census indicates that he married sometime before 1800. He has no children at this time. On 12/3/1850 Absolum applied for bounty land for service in the War of 1812. In the application he says he is about 76 years old and was drafted for a period of six months, 11/15/1814-5/13/1815. He was given 80 acres of land in the state of Iowa. He sold the land to Isaiah Morris. Absolum is listed in the 1820 TN census in Wilson County. He and his wife are both 45 or older. He has three sons: 18-25, 16-18, 10-15 and one daughter 10-15. In 1825-1826 Absolum received 2 land grants in the Sanders Fork area of Wilson County. In the 1830 census, Absolum is 50-60 and his wife is 60-70. Other members of his household are 2 males 0-5, 2 males 20-30, 1 female 5-10, and 2 females 20-30. Absolum's two oldest sons married between 1820 and 1830, Wiley in 1823 and Warren in 1825. Warren is listed in the 1830 census. Wiley is not listed in it. Wiley and his wife are probably one of the 20-30 males and one of the 20-30 females. The three young children are Wiley's. This leaves his younger son, George, and his daughter with him. In the 1840 census in Cannon County, TN, Absolum is 60-70. There is a female with him. She is 40-50. This suggests that Absolum's first wife died some time after 1830 and that he has remarried. Absolum's youngest son George married in 1836. In the 1850 census in Cannon County, TN, Absolum is 75 and with him is a female, Jane, 45. Absolum died in early 1853. On the first Monday of March, 1853, John W. Summers was appointed administrator of his estate. In the same month a year's provisions was set aside for Absolum's widow. This suggests that Jane was Absolum's second wife. In the 1860 census, a Jane Davenport 71 is living with Grundy Fann in Cannon County. Is this the same Jane? The age is close to the age given for his wife in the 1840 census. If the 2 Janes are the same the age in 1850 is wrong. If they are not the same, what happened to Absolum's second wife and where did this Jane come from? I am convinced that they are the same person. Elaine Campbell, a Fann descendant who has been researching the Fanns asked me if I knew who this Jane Davenport was. At that time I had no idea who she was. Elaine suggested that she was Jane Coulter who married Elijah Fann Oct. 16, 1809 in Orange County, NC. They moved to the part of Rutherford County that became a part of Cannon County when it was formed in 1836. Elijah died in 1813. Jane Fann is the head of a family in 1830. She and Elijah had two daughters. The 1830 census shows these and also three males and two young females. The males have been identified as Grundy A., Jackson, and Franklin Fann. The younger females are Melissa and Caroline Fann. It is uncertain if Jane is their mother or if she is raising them. Jane Fann is on the tax list for 1836 but is not found by that name after this date There is no marriage record. For some unknown reason the marriage records for Cannon County from 1836-1837 have not been preserved. Whomever Absolum married it must have been in this period of time. Circumstantial evidence convinces me that Absolum married this Jane Fann about 1837. The age of Jane in 1860 corresponds to the suggested age of Absolum's wife in 1840. In the 1840 census B. (Brice) M. Richardson is living next to Absolum. He is between Warren and Absolum. Brice married Caroline Fann Apr. 15, 1840 in Cannon County. She would have been with Absolum and Jane before the marriaqe. In 1850 Franklin Fann is living next to Absolum. He married in 1845. In 1860 Jane Davenport is with Grundy Fann. The easiest explanation for all of this is a marriage of Absolum and Jane Coulter Fann. In Rutherford County Cemetery Records, p. 52, it is stated that Absolum is buried in or near the Davenport Cemetery, which is in Cannon County. There is no tombstone. November 11, 1814 - June 13, 1815, War of 1812 Notes for MARY WARD: I have found Miss Ward, Mary Ward and Elizabeth Frazier given as the wife of Absolum in different sources. There is a marriage record for an Absolum Davenport and Elizabeth Frazier in NC but it is several years after Absolum moved to and after the Page 5 of 41

birth of his children and is certainly another Absolum. I do not know the source of the identification of Miss Ward or Mary Ward as Absolum's wife. No one that I have asked was able to provide the evidence for a marriage to a Miss Ward or Mary Ward. The 1800 Pitt County, NC census shows Absolum between Hannah Ward and Swain Ward. Next to Hannah is John Ward, then James Swain, then William Ward. This certainly supports a Ward connection and may be the basis for the identification of the wife as Miss Ward. The name of this person and what happened to her is uncertain. She is in the 1820 and 1830 census but is not with Absolum in the 1840 census. A Sarah A. Davenport married a Robert Daulton in Rutherford County, TN March 26, 1838. This may be Absolum's daughter. His youngest son George married in Rutherford County two years earlier. George was given the name of Absolum's father. His only daughter may have been named after his mother. Census records do not list any Davenports living in Rutherford County at this time. Another possibility is that she married in Cannon County in 1836-1837 when there are no existing marriage records. More research needs to be done on Robert and Sarah Daulton. iv. GEORGE DAVENPORT, b. This record refers to him as deceased. These records may be found in the Wilson County Court House and the Wilson County Library. I also have copies of some of the research done by others. Notes for MARTHA BRYSON: I have been unable to locate Martha in the 1830 census. I suspect she is with her brother, Joseph Bryson. She is head of a household in 1840. Two children appear to be with her. In the 1850 census she is still head of a household. Her youngest son, Joseph and a Sarah Bogle are with her. Notes for EDMOND RICHARD DAVENPORT: Edmund 11 is in the 1850 Cannon County census. Edmon 20 is still with his father in 1860. He would be the 0-5 male with Henry in the 1840 census. I have not found this person by the name Edmond after the 1860 census. As far as I know the name Richard first appears in the 1880 census in Dyer County, Richard Davenport 40, Lottie 34. Nathan Mallard, a descendant of Richard, has identified this Richard with a R. Davenport who married Lotty Milligan September 2, 1877 in Cannon County, Nathan also discovered that a R. Davenport and a George Davenport both enrolled in the Confederate Army at Camp Cummings, on September 19, 1861. R. was 21 at the time. They joined for duty June 28, 1862 at Nashville. This George is the son of Henry and Sarah [Pedigo] Davenport. It seems likely that R. is his brother, listed earlier as Edmond. The age of Richard 40 in 1880 corresponds to Edmon 20 in 1860 and 21 in 1861. It appears that between his marriage in 1877 and the census in 1880 he moved from Cannon County to Dyer County. It appears that other family members followed Richard to Dyer County. The 1900 census for Dyer County Lists Robert B. Jones 29, Sallie 25, Etta 6, Julia Davenport 47, Joshua Davenport 15. Julia A. Strong married Hardy J. Davenport, the brother of Edmond. Their daughter Sarah Elizabeth married Robert Barton Jones. Joshua was Hardy J.'s youngest son. It appears likely that Hardy J. moved to Dyer County sometime after the 1880 census, at which time he was in Cannon County. He also apparently died sometime before 1900. Robert Barton Jones and his family moved back to Cannon County before the 1910 census. There is also a Hardy Davenport Oct. 1871, 28 in the 1900 census in Dyer County. He may well be the son of the George Davenport mentioned above. George's son Hardy was 8 in the 1880 Cannon County census. He is not found in Cannon County after this time. All of the Davenports and Joneses mentioned here were in the 12th district of Dyer County. According to Nathan, Lotty married again before 1900. This suggests that Richard died before 1900. Notes for CHARLOTTE MILLIGAN: The marriage record has Lotty Milligan. The 1880 Dyer County census has J. J. Miligen 13 and Isaac Miligen 6 in the family listed as step-sons. This suggests that Lotty had a previous marriage to a Milligan. Some descendants think that the maiden name may have been Bogle. The supporting evidence has not yet been found. Notes for GEORGE DAVENPORT: The 1880 census has the name Tony Davenport. A comparison with George's family in the 1870 census convinces me they are the same person. Tony may be a nickname for Anthony. The full name may be George Anthony although I have found no other supporting evidence. George and his wife do not appear in later censuses in Cannon County and must have died or moved from the area. Martha is the only child that I have found who remained in the area. Notes for FRANCES COLLINS: Frances Collins 3 appears in the 1850 Cannon county census with Harriet Collins 35. In the 1860 census for the same county she is with E. McKnight and Harriet.
