CALL TO OUR PARISHIONERS The First Sunday of Advent, December 3rd, is approaching quite rapidly and will be here before we know it. In anticipation of the New Year of Grace, and with the addition of 2 new Masses, we are asking for more of our brothers and sisters to step-up and to help your Parish Family, whether seasonally or year round, by assisting us in one of the Liturgical Ministries, whether as an Usher, Lector/Reader, or an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. We are also asking our youth, both boys and girls, who have received their First Holy Communion, as well as older youth, to consider serving God and His Church at the Holy Altar as an Altar Server. If you are already commissioned at another parish, and would like to serve at our Parish, please have the pastor provide a Letter of Good Standing or Suitability as required by most parishes and dioceses. You will then receive basic training as to customs of our Parish and then commissioned locally. Additionally, all liturgical ministers should have received or plan on receiving training that is appropriate for the specific ministry in which they will serve. Such training is to include theological, liturgical and pastoral formation. Ministers should not begin service without having attended an adequate period of formation and training, which should also be on-going throughout the year. Without adequate ministers to serve the liturgical needs of our Parish, then the Mass schedule may have to be reduced once again in order to provide the necessary service needs at each and every celebration of Eucharist. We all must work together to provide the very best for Our Eucharistic Lord and for all the members of our Parish Family, the Mystical Body of Christ, whether year-round or seasonal, as well as for those who visit occasionally from time to time. And so I am asking, once again, for each of you to prayerfully consider how you can give back to the Lord for all He has done for you and to increase your gifts of time, talent and treasure to continue the great work of God among us. Thank you and God bless you! The Feast of the Immaculate Conception Friday, December 8th A Holy Day of Obligation Mass Schedule: Vigil Mass: Thursday, December 7 at 5:30pm Masses on the Holy Day: Friday, December 8 at 7:00 am and 9:00 am

MASS FOR HEALING AND DELIVERANCE IN HONOR OF ST. FILOMENA, VIRGIN AND MARTYR Fr. James will celebrate a Mass for Healing and Deliverance On Wednesday, December 6th at 6:00 PM. We will begin the evening with praying of the Angelus, the Novena to St. Filomena and the Holy Rosary.

Have mercy on us, Lord, and forgive us. We trust in Your Great Mercy. O most awe-inspiring King, we bow before You and pray: May Your Reign, Your Kingdom, be recognized on earth. Amen. A blessed Solemnity of our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe to all! Committed Adorers: PLEASE BE SURE TO FIND A SUBSTITUTE if you are not going to be available for your Holy Hour during Advent and Christmastide. Please consider committing to a weekly Holy Hour of Adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Without faithful, committed adorers, Eucharistic Adoration would not be possible. Please contact Kathy, Adorationholyhour@yahoo.com or call 772-485-1787 to schedule your hour with our Lord. Hours in most URGENT need of coverage are: Monday - *9AM-10 AM Tuesday - *5PM-6PM Wednesday - *8AM 9AM and *2PM 3PM and (*11AM Noon Urgent Need 11/22 only) Thursday - *9PM - 10 PM Friday - *6PM-7PM and *8PM-9 PM Saturday - *10AM-11 AM Starting December 3rd, the Sunday Mass Schedule will be: Saturday: 4:00 PM Sunday: 7:00 AM 8:30 AM 10:30 AM 5:00 PM Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion There will be a mandatory meeting for all Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion on Wednesday evening, November 29th at 6:30 pm in the Church.
