Reverend Jerrold Hinton The Reverend Jerrold Hinton is a pastor/evangelist, community builder and scholar-practitioner. Reverend Hinton attended the American Baptist Theological Seminary of American Baptist College in Nashville, Tennessee and is a graduate of the once Beacon University of Columbus, Georgia. He received the Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies. Reverend Hinton acknowledged his call to the ministry at the Greater Friendship Baptist Church in Anchorage, Alaska and was Licensed to Preach the Gospel on December 11, 1977. He was Ordained on January 21, 1979. Reverend Hinton has worked in traditional religious settings throughout his ministry. His commitment to the liberating gospel of Jesus Christ has led him to be actively involved in community affairs. Under the leadership of Chaplain George Washington, Rev. Hinton was one of the original members and co-organizers of the Gospel Service on Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland. Since that time he has served at Faith Tabernacle Community Church, Columbus, Georgia as Assistant Pastor/Youth Pastor; Hickory Grove AME Zion Church, Tuskegee, Alabama Pastor; Williams Chapel AME Zion Church, Tuskegee, Alabama Pastor; Job s House (Single Resident Occupancy - Homeless Shelter) Director; Pillar of Truth Baptist Church, Sembach Air Base, Germany - Assistant Pastor; Landstuhl Church for Youth, Landstuhl, Germany - Pastor/Organizer; and Shiloh Baptist Church, Great Falls, Montana Pastor/Organizer. Reverend Hinton presently serves as the Senior Ministry Spiritual Advisor at Shiloh Baptist Church, Alexandria, Virginia, a community-conscious congregation committed to spiritual and social uplift in our nation s capital. He is a contractor with the Federal Bureau of Investigations. Rev. Hinton pioneered Love from Germany Humanitarian Effort raising over $14,000 and collecting over 4,000 stuffed teddy bears for the children of the Government employees during the Oklahoma City bombing. He has preached in major pulpits across this country to include Department of Defense Chapels. Reverend Hinton is the son of Essie Hinton and the late John H. Hinton of Columbus, Georgia. He is married to the lovely Cynthia Yvonne Hinton, a native of Americus, Georgia. He is the proud father of Jeremy, Corey, Tiffany Hinton, and Nzinga Wilson; stepfather of LaToya Mills, Derricca Holmes, and Donnie (DJ) Williams and the proud grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. 4

Reverend Dr. Lee A. Earl Reverend Dr. Lee Arthur Earl was born in Helena, Arkansas. He is the oldest of seven children born to Clara Earl Brown and raised by his beloved step-father, Frank Earl. The family moved to Pontiac, Michigan where Reverend Earl attended the public schools and graduated from Oakland and St. Clarie Community Colleges. He attended Michigan State University s School of Urban and Metropolitan Studies and received a Master of Arts Degree from Ashland Theological Seminary in Ashland, Ohio, a Master of Divinity Degree from Virginia Union University of Theology and in 2009 completed his Doctorate of Ministry Degree at Ashland Theological Seminary in Cleveland, Ohio. Following the spiritual path of his Grandfather and two of his brothers, he submitted to the call of the gospel in 1974. He began his ministerial training at the Antioch Baptist Church and Trinity Baptist Church in Pontiac, MI. He later moved his membership to the Second Missionary Baptist Church in Jackson, Michigan. There he continued his ministerial training and served as the Director of Christian Education under the spiritual guidance of his beloved father in the Ministry, the late Reverend Amos P. (AP) Williams. In 1980 Reverend Earl was elected Senior Pastor of the 12th Street Missionary Baptist Church, in Detroit, Michigan. He served as Senior Pastor for twelve years before moving to the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. While serving as Senior Pastor at 12th Street Missionary Baptist Church he made great strides to help turn around the lives of the homeless, drug addicts, single mothers, families and others in life-threatening circumstances. He received national recognition for reducing crime in the community by 37.5 percent, according to a Harvard University study through REACH, Inc., a community development corporation on the west side of Detroit. Pastor Earl has been recognized by local, state and federal governments for his work, and received the prestigious The Tenth Point of Light, from the President of the United States of America, George Herbert Walker Bush. In 1997 Reverend Earl was elected as Senior Pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church. He would be the 11th Senior Pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church since its establishment in 1863. Reverend Earl has been referred to as A Preacher s Preacher. He is known for his uncanny ability to make the scriptures plain; always accessible to those in need, a visionary leader, and committed to carrying out those tasks God placed before him. Because of ill health, Reverend Earl retired on August 31, 2012 Senior Pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church. Reverend Earl married his high school sweetheart and best friend, Zandra Bowman and from this union was blessed with three daughters, LaWanda Earl Scott, Veronica Earl and Yolanda Earl Thompson. 5
