The National The seniors were enthused with the card presentation which brought out a loud cheer of thanks for some, a warm smile to others, and the mere thought that a little person spent time to think about them brought hope. I was moved spiritually and emotionally from what I witnessed, Mrs. Sinkler stated. The Willing Workers Ministry remarked that the consolidated efforts from both Children s Ministry staff and the children brought happiness and sunshine to those whose spirits were low/broken, and for whom hope seemed distant. Faith was renewed through the spirit of GIVING which was warmly expressed and shared. Spring Arts & Crafts P A G E 3 HANDPRINT FLOWER DIY BOOKMARKS FOR KIDS Washable Tempera Paint Sticky Sticks Fan Handles Craft Scissors Craft Foam Sheets Felt Glue Markers Step 1. To begin these handprint flower DIY bookmarks for kids, have children paint their Sticky Sticks completely green, except for the area where the sticky adhesive tip is. Repeat for each flower bookmark you want to make. Set aside to let them dry completely. Step 2. While the paint is drying, go ahead and trace your child s hands on the desired color of craft foam and trim those out. You should also cut out some leaves from the green craft foam. Step 3. Now you are ready to assemble your bookmarks. Simply peel off the plastic tab on the adhesive tip and place your handprint cutout on top. Now grab your glue and glue your leaves onto the sticky stick stem. At this point in time you can also add other embellishments you see fit. Then set it all aside to let it dry completely before using as a bookmark! Remember you can also use these as spring decorations or gift them away as a nice gesture!.
