Easter Prayer Lord, our God, by the resurrection of your Son, you have forever illumined the world. Through the power of your Spirit, grant that those who still sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, may be born anew, and that your light may shine on them for ever and ever. Amen. -- Glenstal Book of Prayer

Page Five From Fr. Tom and Parish Council Dear Parishioners, Over the last number of months, the Parish Pastoral Council has been reflecting on the by laws of the PPC. We have made some slight adjustments to the by-laws to reflect both our present reality as well as the practice of the last number of years. We have also changed the title of the by-laws from "Constitution" which speaks more to a legal system, similar to the Constitution of the U.S. to "Our way of Proceeding" coined from the work of St. Ignatius of Loyala to reflect the spiritual nature of prayerful discernment, consensus building and collaboration which is part of parish life. You will find a copy of the PPC "Our Way of Proceeding" on the Parish Website. Fr. Tom Dragga Mary Grace Poidomani Chair of Parish Council Parish Service Day Resurrection Parish announces its first annual Parish Service Day on September 17th. The idea of a parish day of service is for teams of 10 people of every age to reach out into the community and offer service. Our goal for this first parish Service Day is to have 125 parishioners serving at 12 different agencies and organizations in the Greater Cleveland area. Mark your calendars now for September 17th. Details to follow. Fr. Tom Dragga Parish Food Pantry Garden It's spring again, and we need your help to start the church garden back up again. Emily Jung will be having a meeting on Sunday April 3 after the 11 o'clock mass to plan what we want to plant and how the schedule will look for the next couple months. We need some people who can water and/or weed so that our garden can prosper. In the later months, around July - September we will need people to harvest and deliver the vegetables to the church. All help is appreciated and all ages are welcome. Hope to see you there and happy gardening! Make a Difference The Resurrection Prayer Shawl ministry is in need of knitters. Consider giving some of your time to help make knitted prayer shawls which are distributed to the sick. If you don t know how to knit they will be happy to teach you. The Prayer Shawl ministry meets the second and fourth Friday of the month in Galilee at 9:30 AM. Contact Kathy Goldman at (440) 247-4079 or email at ksgre@aol.com or contact Arlene Legan at (440) 349-2015 or email at wocarv@aol.com if you have any questions.
