Great hiding! You were just like the spies when Rahab hid them! Rahab did a great job hiding the spies in our Bible lesson today. She kept them safe and hidden while mean guys are looking for them! I m so thankful that Rahab had the courage to help those spies, because she knew that they followed God. Rahab was courageous, because she knew she wasn t alone. God was with Rahab! And when God is with you, you can be courageous too. Who is always with you? God is always with me.

We heard about them in our lesson today! During the Activity: Let s use the crayons to color our pages. Then I want you to take one of these pieces of red yarn and glue it next to the window. Remember, in our lesson, the spies told Rahab to tie a red ribbon from the window so that her family could be found and kept safe. (Finish activity.) After the Activity: Your pages look great! I think what Rahab did took SO much courage. She was Rahab the Courageous for sure! We can have courage too when we remember that God is always with me! Who is always with you? God is always with me! Great job, friends.

CRAFT WEEK 2 Shield What You Need: Shield Logo cutout on white cardstock, thick, 8-inch paper plates in any color, cardstock strips in any color, scissors, glue sticks, and packing tape Before the Activity: Fold each cardstock strip into a ring shape and secure it with tape. God is always with me.

SMALL GROUP Small Group Time What you Need: Parent Take Home Card, Playdoh, Star Cookie Cutters, Rolling Pins, and Sticker Roll SMALL GROUP LEADER (SGL): Today s Bible lesson was so cool! Where s my SUPER small group so we can talk about it? I see SUPER [child s name] and SUPER [child s name] and (call each child in your small group and give them a high-five as they come to you). Now, who can tell me what SUPER thing God helped Rahab do in our lesson? (Pause for response.) God helped Rahab hide the good spies. That s right! It took a lot of courage to do that a lot of SUPER courage. Rahab believed in God s power, and that gave her the courage to do the right thing and hide the good spies. You can be SUPER courageous too, because God is always with you. Who is always with you? CHILDREN and SGL: God is always with me. SGL: Do you think it was hard for Rahab to hide the spies? I mean, what if she got caught hiding them? Sometimes doing the right thing can be hard, but knowing God is with us gives us the courage to do the right thing anyway. That is why she was SUPER courageous and did what God wanted her to do. I want us to be SUPER courageous and do what God wants us to do too! SGL: Now let s sit down for prayer time. One, two, three, eyes on me! Let s make a list of good things that are hard to do, like telling the truth or saying we re sorry when we ve done something wrong. When we pray, we can ask God to help us be SUPER courageous and do the right thing, even when it s hard. So tell me, what s one good thing that s hard to do? Ok, it s time to review our lesson. I am going to ask you some questions and you will get a sticker for answering them. I have some really cool stickers today. Are you ready? (Pause.) Great! (Ask the children the questions from the Parent Take Home Cards. You can also make up additional questions from our video lesson. Don t forget to ask them to say their memory verse for another sticker. You can repeat the same questions over and over as repetition is good for preschoolers.) You are such great listeners! Now I ll pray before it s time to say goodbye until next week.
