Faith comes by hearing, and hearing the word of God. IMANI RADIO AND TV MINISTRIES
March, 2014 NEWSLETTER Imani Media Centre Kitale EXPERIENCING GOD S LOVE We would like to thank you for your prayers, love and financial support that have enabled Imani radio and TV ministries continue to spread the word of the living God. We humbly share what the Lord is doing through this ministry to give thanks and rejoice in Him who gives us life, healing, deliverance, and love. On February 16 th of 2014 was graced by invited guests, Imani staff and the larger Imani Media family. More than 400 people travelled from as far as Uganda across the border to attend the kesha. Rev. Winnie Wanyonyi led the service. She later welcomed the Director of, Imani Ministry Mr. Ptallah Butaki. Mr. Butaki expressed his delight on how faithful the kesha attendants have been in the support the vigil night prayers by bringing plastic chairs. He then set the platform ready for the speaker of the night: Pst. Faith Mulayo of The Living Springs Ministries. Pst.Mulayo encouraged the congregation, with her message being the seven pillars of success. Pst.Mulayo in her sermon expressed the goodness and faithfulness of God on how the Almighty God had lifted her both spiritually and physically. She talked of how she lost more than a million shillings during the post -election violence experienced way back in 2007, but God, as it s confirmed in the word that He will restore all that the enemy stole from us, restored more than double what she had lost. She also revealed on how God has taken her places, just because she has been faithful in ministry and in serving God irrespective of her educational background. Listeners were given the glorious opportunity to send in their prayer requests via telephone and were prayed for. Greetings from Kenya, We believe that this newsletter finds you well in our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. God put a burden in us to reach out to His people with the message of love, hope, and grace not only here in Kenya but Uganda and other parts of the world. Imani Ministries continues to preach the good news in obedience to the great commission as left for us by our Lord Jesus Christ. Millions of peoples lives have continued to be touched, healed, delivered, and faith built 24 hours through Radio, TV and outreaches. When the enemy comes against the saints like a flood, the Lord raises the standard. We all know that it is not by might or power but by His Spirit. It is encouraging to see the miracles; however our prayer is even for the unreached, and unstable. We are grateful to you all for standing with us to see that this commission is achieved. May God richly bless you. PRAYER REQUESTS We need to pay for our annual frequency fees in Kenya and Uganda. Out of $3500 needed, we now have a deficit of $1,500. God may give us strength and wisdom to serve Him according to His will and purposes. That He may provide finances for the running of the ministry. That God may bring people with a burden of praying and supporting the Radio & Tvprograms.
IMANI RADIO & TV Newsletter March 2014 Vigil Night extended Due to demand and in an aim to reaching more people in urban and rural areas with the goodness of Christ, the Imani Radio and TV ministries monthly vigil night has now gone to churches within its reach. On 28 th February, we transmitted our first outside vigil prayers, at Calvary celebration church in Kitale town. Apart from the normal Kesha the demand for God s love to pour through to the souls saw us landing in this church which is led by one of our associate INTERCESSORY PRAYERS When the Bible says that we should pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), We have expereinced God s love through men and women who have volunteered to unceasingly mention Imani radio and TV ministries before God. With heavy needs bombarding the ministry, through your prayers we have been able to come this far. God has been faithful and will continue to be in matters of reaching out to the lost, healing, deliverance, finances, equipment, and personel. Rev. Winnie Wanyonyi, Mama Askofu wa Imani. This inter-denominational vigil night, the first to be transmitted outside the radio station had an attendance of approximately 400 people. Although there were some technicalities in transmission due to phone point to point frequency connection, we eventually managed to share the good news from that venue transmitted live from 10pm to 5.30am. It was led by host Rev. Winnie Wanyonyi. The guest Pastor from CHRISCO church, Kisumu, Pastor Thomas Opanda preached from the book of Psalms 11:3, with the topic, When the foundations are destroyed. He talked on the importance of understanding our foundations if we are to move on. Through it all, the Lord blessed us from dusk to dawn with love and joy. Thanks to all who have stood and continue to stand with us. Together we continue to see the ministry growing despite all odds. BY FAITH SPREADING HIS WORD TO ALL NATIONS

IMANI RADIO & TVNewsletter March 2014 MISSION WEEKS BLESSINGS OUR PRAYER We are grateful to Christ Jesus for the opportunity we have to serve in His vineyard. Nevertheless, we are also thankful for godly men and women who have humbly stood with Imani ministry at any capacity. From 3 rd of March to 14 th 2014, we have been involved together with the listeners of 88.8 Imani radio and viewers of Imani TV on startimes decoder channel 117 in mission weeks. Two weeks of supporting Imani ministries through prayer, and encouragement. We saw the pure hearts of the local listeners and viewers in fellowship some giving even some money, the little they could afford to support Imani ministries. It was encouraging to see people from humble walks of life sacrificing as low as Kshs 10 (less than a dollar) to support. The mission weeks also saw the presenters of Imani radio giving out solar powered radios to a listener every day when they answered some biblical questions right. We thank God for all of you partners, mission supporters, prayer worriers, and friends for being part of Imani ministries. THANK YOU IMANI FAMILY FOR YOUR PRAYERS www.imaniradio.org. P.o.
