NO CHARGE for Seats to High Holiday Services at Shaare Tefila applies to: All members in good standing (except OPT OUT Households) Unmarried children of members, aged 25 or younger FAST FACTS: Q. Do I need to sign up for my free seats? A. NO! You will automatically receive a seat for each adult family member noted in your membership [1 adult household = 1 seat; 2 adult household = 2 seats]. Q. Do I need to sign my children up for their free seats? A. YES! This is to help us better plan for the youth programming and provide seats in our main sanctuary for your unmarried children/young adults (through age 25) planning to attend the main service. Q. A non-shaare Tefila family wants to join us for services this year, can I purchase seats for them? A. YES! The cost for guests is $120 per person per Holiday. As a bonus, if they are members in good standing at another Conservative congregation which includes seats in its dues, there is no charge for their seats at Shaare Tefila. [Please contact Jill Goldwater for details.] Q. When will I receive my tickets? A. We no longer issue tickets. You will receive an email acknowledging your participation in services at Shaare Tefila when you sign up and provide a list of the names of the people in your party. This email will also include the schedule of services and other pertinent information. Youth seat confirmations will be sent as you register your children. Please keep all emails for reference. Q. BUILDING FUND Only for new households and households which have not completed their commitment The Building Fund has been automatically billed to your account 2 Adult Household $2,400 payable over 6 years at a minimum of $400/year 1 Adult Household $1,800 payable over 6 years at a minimum of $300/year Under 30 Household New Member Deferred 1 year waiver before starting their building fund obligation. Waiver does not apply to Ages 30-39 category. A 10% discount will be given to any household that pays its entire Building Fund obligation within 6 months of the start of its obligation. 3

Youth Programs Babysitting for ages 2 through 4; Services for children age K through 12th grade. IMPORTANT NOTE: Seating is open seating with some of the aisle seats reserved for those with physical conditions requiring them to sit on the aisle. We ask all our participants to be respectful of those seats during the High Holiday services. Youth Program Age groups: Kindergarten through 2nd 3rd through 5th Grades Middle School and High School: 6 th 12 th grade students will attend the main service except during special directed conversation times with adult leaders. Babysitting is for children ages 2 through 4. Time: 10 am to 1 pm, both days of Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur day. Same as last year Name for listing: YIZKOR BOOK Each year Shaare Tefila publishes a Book of Remembrance which is put out on Yom Kippur and Yizkor, throughout the year. It contains the names of our Beloved Departed and the names of those remembering them. The minimum contribution for each listing is $10 per line. Each line is limited to 33 characters which includes lettering, spacing and punctuation for each donor and person memorialized.
