St. Mary on the Hill May 22, 2016 It s hard to believe that the 2015-2016 school year has come to an end!! We are excited about the beginning of summer, a time for refreshment and renewal of mind and body. At St. Mary on the Hill Catholic School we have so many things to be thankful for as we close out this year. We are grateful for our parish and the support we receive for Catholic Education through Stewardship. We are excited for our 8 th grade class as they move on to high school and the many opportunities that God has in store for them in the future. We give Principal Joe McBride s Corner thanks for our families and their support of Catholic Education in our parish. We are thankful for the wonderful teachers and their dedication to our students and families that we serve, they are the best around!! But most importantly we are thankful to our heavenly Father for allowing us the opportunity to learn and grow in a Catholic environment and celebrate our Faith in all that we do. As we finish this year we are saying goodbye to 6 staff members. It is with grateful hearts that we say goodbye, good luck and Godspeed in their future endeavors. Leaving us this year is Allison Kelly, 3 rd grade teacher, Moniqua Acosta, our Spanish teacher. Also Nancy Stoner, Intermediate Math and Religion teacher, Sherre Watwood, 7 th grade Grammar and Religion teacher. We are also saying goodbye to Mary Beth Jordan, Assistant Principal, and Suzanne Beusse, Kindergarten teacher. We want to give a special thank you to Mrs. Beusse who has served St. Mary s and her students for 41 years!!! We have been blessed by Mrs. Beusse in so many ways and hope that God will bless her in retirement as much as she has blessed us! We want to congratulate our 8 th grade class and wish them many blessings as they move on to bigger and better things in high school. We have been fortunate to watch them grow over the last 9 years into wonderful young men and women, who are strong in their faith and prepared to become Christian Leaders in our ever-changing world.
