St. Marianne Cope Parish will no longer be offering a 6:30am daily mass. This change will take effect starting the week of June 25 th, 2018 We realize that this change will unsele some people and we regret this for our faithful parishioners. However, these are changing mes and certain changes are unavoidable. As we look to the future, we are connually reflecng on what is possible for one priest to handle throughout the week and on the weekend. We hope all parishioners will understand and we thank you for your cooperaon. Fr. Eloo will be away beginning June 26 th through July 5 th. Fr. Brickler has graciously offered to celebrate the daily Masses at 8:15am while Fr. Is away. The Holiday Mass on July 4 th will be at 9:30am at Guardian Angels Church with Fr. Brickler. Free Senior Legal Advice Gospel of Mahew Bible Study It s not too late! Join us for a 12 week study of the Gospel of St. Mahew. We will explore how the sacred author uses many Old Testament quotaons and references to prove that Jesus is the Messiah. Seeing that the terms kingdom and kingdom of heaven are used over 80 mes in this gospel, we will study the kingship of our Lord. We will explore the aspects of the Sermon on the Mount, one of history s most famous set of moral standards. Many readers find it hard dealing with this Gospel s hard sayings, such as the warning against riches, its announcement of divine jusce and judgment as well as its demand for good works. Just how did these challenges from our Lord impact the people of that me and what do they mean for us today?
