HOLY SPIRIT PARISH / PARROQUIA DEL ESPÍRITU SANTO Dear Parishioners, Thank you to those who have already pledged their support to the Called to Serve as Christ campaign. Our campaign goal is $850,000 and we are over halfway there. In the coming weeks, we will ask those of you have not yet responded to the campaign to please consider a pledge to support our retired priests and sisters. Holy Spirit will receive 15% of the first $691,475 and then 85% on any funds received after that which can be used to update the HVAC in the Church and Chapel. D e c e m b e r Y o u t h B i g E v e n t On December 16th, Holy Spirit hosted the South King Deanery High School Youth gathering. One hundred high school youth from St. Stephen the Martyr, St. Anthony, Holy Family, St. Vincent de Paul, St. Theresa and Holy Spirit parishes gathered for fellowship & worship. Our guest speaker was Fr. Kyle Mangloña, who also celebrated Mass. A fabulous Italian dinner was prepared by our Jr. High youth and their families. After dinner the youth completed service projects to benefit Pregnancy Aid of Kent and Terrific Tuesday Meals. We were able to provide 50 fleece scarf/sock bags for Terrific Tuesdays, and 60 toiletry bags and 6 fleece blankets for Pregnancy Aid. Donated clothing and playground balls were also prepared to benefit both organizations. All the toiletries, clothing & fleece was generously donated by Holy Spirit parishioners.
