If you can spare even half and hour please add your name to the sign up sheet on the table by the glass doors. Please do not add any nuts to cakes. Thank you. NESCOT CAFÉ: Our Friday lunchtime café in partnership with NESCOT students with Special Educational Needs is open for the Summer term. You may already have been inundated with requests from companies asking for permission to keep contacting you. Well, the church is no exception. Even if St John s already has your contact details including phone number, address and email we would like you to confirm that we can use them. Please complete the consent form which is on the table or available on our website and return it to the parish office or put it in the red box. Without your consent we will not legally be able to contact you about church matters But please do not feel under any obligation to do this. In due course there will also be a new privacy policy which will show what and how data is stored. If you have any questions Alison 4 will try to help.

HEARING AID DROP-IN CLINIC: A free drop in clinic for local people with NHS hearing aids takes place at St. John's (in church) usually on the first Friday of each month 12 noon - 1pm. This service is run by volunteers trained by the audiology departments of Epsom & St Helier Hospital and hold training completion certificates. It is a Guildford Diocese initiative in partnership with the NHS. The service offers: basic hearing aid maintenance; battery supply; cleaning & re-tubing; troubleshooting & advice. Please remember to bring your brown NHS Battery Book (which includes your settings and requirements) and your hearing aid(s) each time you come to the clinic. For more information please contact John Simon 8393 6155 PILGRIMAGE: The Revd. Haydon Wilcox is leading another pilgrimage/holiday to Iona, in Scotland from 26th July - 3rd August 2019. Contact him on 01252 621639 or my email: haydonwilcox@mac.com for a brochure. Details of his other events and trips are available on request for The Holy Land, South Korea, Oberammergau and his retreats. FOODBANK: Are you beginning to get the Foodbank habit? A lot of people find that it s a helpful discipline to add an item or two onto the weekly shopping list. If you are anything like me a list helps whilst wandering the aisles. The Foodbank issues a wishlist nearly every week. We get this transferred to a handout so it s possible to grab one as you enter church. The wishlist represents the items which are desperately needed. Just recently they have requested important necessities such as children toothbrushes and toothpaste, laundry powder and nappies. Please pick up a list and see if you can help. St John s would like to send a team to the Quiz Night on Friday 22nd June in Ewell. Arrivals from 7pm for a prompt start at 7.30pm. Tickets are 6 and we need 8 people for a team. We need to book by 15th June so please give your name(s) to Polly Elder if you can help out. (two teams 5 would be even nicer!!)=
