WELCOME FRIENDS! All are asked to sign the attendance card and place it in the plate during the offering. When Holy Communion is offered, guests are asked to read through the statement on the inside cover of the hymnal before receiving communion. LADIES AID will be meeting at Pizza Ranch at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 1 st. The Executive Board are to bring prizes. See you there!! LIFE THOUGHTS God rearranged the atmosphere to proclaim His love for human lives (Genesis 9:16). He has made all the universe s structures, including our bodies, to serve human survival and salvation. No pregnancy comes forth except at His bidding, and no sickness sets in without His permission (Mark 6:51). If angels and atoms delight respecting every Adam and protecting each Eve, won t it make us glad declaring it? Maker of heavens and earth, assist us to commit everything into Your care. Amen. LEGOS Club St. Peter s Lutheran School will have a LEGOS (Let Everyone Glorify Our Savior) Club starting next school year. This club will meet twice a month after school. The exact dates will be shared at the start of the school year. What is a LEGOS Club? It is an opportunity for students in Grades K-3 to be inspired by God s Word, through a devotion shared by Mr. Tessendorf, and then create something with LEGOs based on that devotion. Sounds Fun - but it can only happen with your help! Currently the club has a few LEGOs but can use more. Please consider donating any LEGOs you no longer are in need of. Perhaps you may find a good deal on LEGOs at a garage sale and be moved to donate them to the St. Peter s LEGOS Club. There is a donation box in the entrance of the church. Thank you for your consideration. COUNSELING SITE Lisa Hecht, Christian Counselor for Lutheran Counseling and Family Services of Wisconsin, conducts regular office hours right here at St. Peter s. This service is available to everyone. It was passed at the July Voters meeting to increase her time at St. Peter s from 2 to 4 times per month. Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him Who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think We often shortchange God by failing to remember what Paul says here: God can do far more than what we can think or ask. His power, and His love, are without bound and without measure. So why do we fear to follow His word? Isn t it in fact fear that keeps us back from a life of joyous generosity and open-handedness? But God is able to do far more abundantly! So let us not be afraid to take the Lord at his word and live according to it. Witness: God s light reveals what His love can heal. Luke 1:79
