RESPECT LIFE SUNDAY OCTOBER 1ST As baptized and confirmed Catholics God asks us to be witnesses for righteousness here on earth. We have that opportunity to be that witnesses for Christ and the Gospel of Life on Sunday, October 1 from 2-3pm in front of Our Lady of Mercy Church. Our parish will host a Life Chain. This is a quiet, prayerful standing/siting in front of our parish with signs that testify to the truth that all life is sacred. It is not always an easy thing to step out of our comfort zones and proclaim the Gospel. We have been given the grace to do just that from the Sacrament of Confirmation. In solidarity with thousands around the country, we will be strong in giving voice to the Gospel of Life. We will gather in the Church parking lot at 1:45pm. Please, please join us! will host a Healing Mass on Tuesday, October 10th at 7PM celebrated by the Reverend Richard McAlear, O.M.I.
