One Voice: In the bread and the wine, the body of our Savior nourishes everyone. Gathered Voices: Seek us out, O God, and give us yourself. One Voice: Here is the water of life, the word that feeds, the food of eternity. Come and praise the vine that gives all goodness. ^Hymn At the name of Jesus # 342 ^Opening Prayer Children s Message Pastor Kevin A Psalm of Lament Psalm 137 Call to Confession
Confession in Unison God of mercy, we confess that we have not borne the fruit of the Spirit. We have not loved others as you have loved us. We have denied the promises of baptism and cut ourselves off from you. Forgive us; restore us that we may abide in your love and live out your mercy, for the sake of Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray. Amen. Declaration of Grace Anthem Who Do You Know? Robert J. Gielas Who do you know that can calm every fear when the fear seems to hide your trust? Who can you trust when the weight of the world seems to pull from morning to dusk? Who is the One that can help all your doubts and reach to lend you His hand? It is Jesus! He s the Savior! He s the One where it all began. Where can you go when you run out of hope and you reach and no one is there? Where can you find a friend when you re weak and He s there to open the door? Where can you run, and where is the One Who will love you forever with care? He is Jesus! He s the Savior! He is here and everywhere! Sometimes I feel discouraged and all by myself. Those time I forget the One who has given me life. When will I cry for His help when I need all the strength that s within His hand? When will I show that my love can grow, even when I misunderstand? When will I know, and who do I know That will bless and comfort my heart? He s my Jesus! He s my Savior! He s the One to save us all! He s my Jesus! He s my Lord! He s the One to save us all!
