Supreme Council set a goal for our council at 11, so we have met our goal for the year. Our Membership director, Ed Szczesniak, should be congratulated. I'd like to remind you that every Knight should have an annual personal goal to bring in one new Knight to the Council per year. Fathers, sons, neighbors, and friends are all good candidates. If you have a prospective Knight in mind, please notify Tony Mele at 315-458-9088. Sustaining Fund The Vocation Club supports religious vocations. See Page 5 for upcoming Dates Have articles for future Knights Corner issues? Notify Deputy GK Tony Mele anthonyelaine1@hotmail.com. Faced with higher tuition and living costs many men and women in various formation programs find themselves with little money for necessary expenses. Thru the Knights of Columbus, postulates or seminarians may receive assistance. Our Cicero Council 10904 has a dedicated Vocations Sustaining Club whereby we annually support three seminarians at $1000 each and the Bishop s Burse. The new Columbian year starts July 1, 2015. We therefore ask that brothers, who are able to, participate at any level to support our seminarians When checks or money are given to the fund, please indicate that such money is for the sustaining fund. http://www.kofc10904.org 1

Insurance Check-Up for 2015 Where did 2014 go? Where did the First Quarter of 2015 go? I hope you and your family are having a great year. Now, the first quarter of 2015 has flown by. Hopefully, you ve established a few goals for this year. I ve learned a great tip regarding goasls. First, write them down. It s not too late if you haven t already done this. Commit your goals to paper and post it someplace you will see it often. Writing down a goal is the first step towards achieving it. It may not make sense at first, but I m sure you have heard stories of the success this simple task can bring. Whether your goal is to exercise more, give more to charity, read more or watch less television, you re more likely to accomplish it if you write it down. Second, resolve to have an expert look at your finances. I recommend that you have a team of experts help you, and I would love to be the first you sit with. Let s schedule some time to meet together, and I, your professional Knights of Columbus insurance agent, will provide an insurance check-up (at no cost!) that will evaluate any gaps in your family s life insurance protection. Now might be the perfect time to fill those gaps, not later. Keep in mind that unlike many other products, you don t just need money to obtain life insurance; you also need good health, and no one knows when your health could change. Did I mention my check-up is free of charge? When was the last time you received something for free that could provide value to you and your family for generations? Call me today. You may be wondering who I am. My name is Rick Nester and I am your new insurance agent. I plan to attend your next council and dinner meeting and introduce myself. If you have any questions, feel free to call me at 410-218-5578. Or, if you prefer, you can call Jerry Antosh at 315-730- 0811. Did I forget to tell you that the Knights of Columbus Insurance now has over 96 billion of Insurance in force. We are rated A++ Superior and have been named One of the World's most Ethical Companies in 2015. I figured I'd just let you know who I represent. Please give me a call. http://www.kofc10904.org 4
