(Per item above, PD Jim will be forewarned that a few of us will leave early, not out of disrespect, but only to undertake a Rotary project.) Jim Murphy: He and Peg stumbled upon Housing Works Books and Cafe in SoHo in Manhattan and learned that it is a charity providing housing, medical and psychological help for those suffering with HIV/AIDS...all books are donated and the staff are volunteers...they WELCOME BOOK DONATIONS if suitable for resale...let Jim or Peg know if you have any books to donate and they will get them to the City. The FOUR WAY TEST of things we think, say, and do: 1. Is it the TRUTH? 2. Is it FAIR to all concerned? 3. Will it build GOOD WILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? 4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

There ensued a discussion from the floor of the bylaws of both the Scholarship Fund and the Charity Fund and the differences between final approval processes in each.
