I am getting my Christmas decorations out. Baskets are on my mantle. Baskets are in my nativity scene. Baskets are on the table. Baskets have many purposes especially at this time of year! One thing that I love about making baskets is being able to make presents. I love giving handmade baskets and I love getting handmade gifts. Gifts that are made hold special meaning to me. My tree is full of ornaments that my own boys have made through the years. I have a basket that I acquired in the guild Christmas basket swap that was made by Carol McNeil and I treasure it! I cherish things that my deceased father made for us. These treasures comfort me! Someday, I hope that Peter and any other grandchildren we may have, feel connected to the past when they use some of my baskets. They are full of love for all who use them! Merry Christmas to all! May you weave yourself many memories during this holiday season! Marilyn Julius TAKE NOTE! 2017 DUES are now due! Please send your $20 check made out to CPBWG to Becci Melcher, 140 North Lombard Street, Dallastown, PA 17313 The Country Seat October newsletter had a very informative article about reed.
