Erev, Erev, Erev Shabbas Chanukah Day 4 of Chanukah Parashas Mikeitz December 12, 2012 Licht Bentchen: 4:28 P.M. Chanukah Licht Bentchen on Erev Shabbos - just before 4:28 Volume XIX, Issue 14 Dear Parents, Welcome to Chanukah 5773 at the Torah School (and the rest of the world). May we soon be able to say the Berachah of She a sa Nissim for events of our lifetime. Perhaps you are wondering why this communiqué is being published today when we ARE open tomorrow. The answer to this (most likely) unspoken question is as follows. Tomorrow (in case you haven t heard), we have our big event of the year the Chanukah Carnival. The hecticity of this (very controlled) hectic activity reaches its peak at the end of the day. The kids are focusing on their winnings and, very likely, would leave the ESTER on our premises. Therefore, our safety net is the prophylactic measure of sending this letter to you 24 hours early. The thrust today is conveying information that is vital to your families lives during the next 168+ hours. Calendarial Anticipations Thursday, December 13 P.M. Chanukah Carnival.
