18MN25743 Shoplifting Arrest On Sunday October 7, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., Ethan Melazzo, a 27-year-old, single, male, resident of New Egypt, NJ, who is self-employed, was arrested for shoplifting $78.62 worth of merchandise at Wegman s Supermarket. Melazzo concealed the merchandise and attempted to exit the business without rendering payment. Mr. Melazzo was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after being issued a summons. Patrolman Aaron Abeles was the arresting 18MN25685 Fraud On Saturday, October 6, 2018, at approximately 3:15 p.m., a 79-year-old Manalapan resident reported that unknown actors had accessed the victim s bank account during the course of the last two years resulting in a loss of approximately $2,000.00. Patrolman Douglas Zike took the report, which is pending further investigation. 18MN25675 Fraud On Saturday, October 6, 2018, at approximately 11:00 a.m., a 37-year-old report that an unknown actor utilized the victim s identity to open a credit card at the Bridgewater Commons Shopping Mall and made fraudulent purchases in the amount of $2,020.50. Patrolman Jason Vigneault took the report, which is pending further investigation. 18MN25618 Theft On Friday, October 5, 2018, at 3:46 p.m., a 75-year-old Manalapan resident reported that an unknown actor(s) had stolen five watches from a Woodward Road residence in March, 2018. The watches were valued at approximately $3,000.00 in total. 18MN25606 Fraud On Friday, October 5, 2018, at 2:12 p.m., a 40-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported that between 10:15 a.m. and 12:34 p.m., unknown actor(s) attempted to make two unauthorized purchases totaling $348.87 using the victim s debit card information in Staten Island, NY and via the internet. Patrolman Jeffrey Emslie was the responding 18MN25594 Theft On Tuesday, October 5, 2018, at 12:13 p.m., employees of NMG Newspaper Media Group, located at 198 Route 9 North in Manalapan, reported that on September 3, 2018, an unknown actor had removed a flat screen television valued at $300.00 from a conference center. Patrolman J. Morgan Joiner took the report, which is pending further investigation. 18MN25589 Fraud On Friday, October 5, 2018, at approximately 11:00 a.m., a 44-year-old report fraudulent activity on the victim s bank account. No monetary loss was reported as a result of this incident. Patrolman Ross Dessel was the responding 18MN25554 Harassment On Thursday, October 4, 2018, at 3:15 p.m., a 45-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters to report being harassed by a 46-year-old Piscataway resident via social media and email since July of 2018. This incident is pending the signing of complaints with the Manalapan Township Municipal Court. Patrolman Matthew Meyler was the responding 18MN25547 Theft On Thursday, October 4, 2018, at 5:55 p.m., employees of the Enrite Gas Station located on Route 33 in Manalapan reported that a male subject received $32.00 worth of fuel and left the business without rendering payment. Patrolman Matthew Meyler took the report, which is pending further investigation. 18MN25537 Fraud / Theft On Thursday, October 4, 2018, at 3:15 p.m., a 46-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters to report that an unknown actor attempted to make a $2,000.00 fraudulent transaction from the

victim s checking account and also attempted a $5,000.00 transfer from a savings account to a checking account. The transactions were attempted in North Carolina, but were unsuccessful. The accounts were subsequently closed. Patrolman Matthew Meyler took the report, which is pending further investigation. 18MN25469 Vandalism On Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at approximately 4:37 p.m., a 41-year-old Manalapan resident reported vandalism to a mailbox valued at $200.00 at a Taylors Mills Road residence. No permanent damage was reported to the mailbox. Patrolman Douglas Zike was the responding 18MN25383 Theft On Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at approximately 11:20 p.m., a 43-year-old Freehold Township resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters to report that between 8:10 p.m. and 8:20 p.m. a purse and its contents, valued at approximately $1,080.00, was removed from the parking lot of the Wegman s Supermarket, located at 55 Route 9 South in Manalapan. Patrolman Matthew Mattia took the report, which is pending further investigation. 18MN25381 Theft On Tuesday, October 02, 2018 at 11:10 p.m., a 62-year-old Manalapan resident reported the theft of his New Jersey driver's license and $80.00 in cash from the Marianne Manor, located at 327 Route 33 in Manalapan. Ptl. Adam Sosnowski was the responding 18MN25376 Warrant Arrest On Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at approximately 9:21 p.m., Patrolman Kyle Williams conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 9 South in Manalapan for a traffic violation. The passenger of the vehicle, identified as Jesus Ortiz, a 38- year-old, unmarried, unemployed, male, resident of Lakewood, NJ, was found to have a warrant issued for her arrest by the Wall Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,367.00. Mr. Ortiz was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and subsequently turned over to the Wall Township Police Department in lieu of bail. Patrolman Kyle Williams was the arresting 18MN25360 Harassment On Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at 6:10 p.m., a 34-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters to report harassment by a 45-year-old Manalapan resident. 18MN25316 Warrant Arrest On Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at approximately 9:52 a.m., Patrolman Bart Mattaliano conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 33 East in Manalapan for a traffic violation. The passenger of the vehicle, identified as Daron Matthews, a 29-year-old, unmarried, unemployed, male, resident of Trenton, NJ, was found to have warrants issued for his arrest by the Trenton Municipal Court in the amount of amount of $5,500.00, the Tinton falls Municipal Court in the amount of $250.00, and the Robbinsville Municipal Court in the amount of $639.99. Mr. Matthews was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and subsequently turned over to the Robbinsville Township Police Department in lieu of bail. Patrolman Bart Mattaliano was the arresting 18MN25236 Identity Theft On Monday, October 1, 2018, at approximately 1:52 p.m., a 77-year-old report that an unknown actor obtained his Santander checking account and cashed a check electronically for $29.65. Patrolman Ross Dessel was the responding 18MN25210 Vehicle Theft On Monday, October 1, 2018, at approximately 9:45 a.m., a 23-year-old Millstone resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters to report that on September 30, 2018, between 11:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., unknown actors removed the victim s 2005 Toyota Camry, valued at approximately $800.00, from the parking lot of Gus s Diner, located at 135 Route 33 in Manalapan. Patrolman Bart Mattaliano took the report, which is pending further investigation. 18MN25190 Warrant Arrest On Monday, October 1, 2018, at approximately 12:28 a.m., Patrolman Sean McCarthy and Patrolman Jared Coupland responded to Ocean Township Police Department to take custody of William Warren, a 59-year-old, unmarried, unemployed, male, resident of Long Branch, NJ, regarding a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court with no bail amount set. Mr. Warren was subsequently transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution pending a court appearance. Patrolman Jared Coupland was the arresting

Mrs. Natale was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Reginald Grant was the arresting 18MN25218 Warrant Arrest On Monday, October 1, 2018, at approximately 10:40 a.m., Adam D. DeFeo, a 32-year-old, unmarried, unemployed, male, resident of Brick, NJ, turned himself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $750.00.
