Baptismal classes are held once every month. Baptisms are celebrated once per month on Saturday at 10:00 AM or periodically during the year at the Sunday 10:30 AM Mass. and those interested in becoming parishioners. The pastor should be contacted 9-12 months before the wedding date. The pastor should be contacted immediately after the death of a loved one. Funeral plans should be discussed with the pastor prior to making final arrangements at the funeral home.

OVERNIGHT PARKING Whenever a parishioner needs to leave their car in the parking lot on the church or school parking lot overnight, please contact the parish office to obtain permission and instructions of where to park. LITURGY LITURGICAL MINISTERS SCHEDULE The March and April Liturgical Minister s Schedule has been mailed. You are reminded to find your own replacements if you are unable to fulfill your scheduled time. Phone lists can be picked up in the Conference Room. Thank you for your continued stewardship of time and talent to St. Mary Church. ROSARY & NOVENA The rosary is recited at St. Mary every Friday morning before the 7:00 AM Mass. Novena to the Blessed Virgin Mary is recited on Thursdays after the 7:00 AM Mass. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED Lectors, Altar Servers, Greeters, Ushers, Eucharistic Ministers St. Mary Parishioners wanting to volunteer, are asked to complete a volunteer form, found at the entrances of the Church, and submit them to the Church Office. You may volunteer at any time during the year. LENT ACTIVITIES DAILY MASS Daily Mass during Lent will be Mon., Tue., Wed., Thu. & Fri. at 7:00 AM. Confessions are at 6:45 AM. DAY OF PRAYER FOR WOMEN Lenten Day of Prayer for Women is February 27, at Our Lady of the Oaks Retreat House in Grand Coteau. Space is limited so register early by calling 337-662-5410. FROM PASTOR S DESK LENTEN MISSION SPEAKER Fr. Jack Conley, CP is a member of the Passionate Community stationed at St. Vincent Strambi Retreat Center in Chicago, IL. He has given missions throughout the United States for the past 48 years. Fr. Conley will be speaking at all the Masses on the Third Sunday of Lent (March 3-4), three weeks from now. The Mission will be on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (March 5-7) at 6:30 PM. We will also celebrate Mass at 10:00 AM Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, as well as be available for the Sacrament of Reconciliation after the 10:00 AM Mass. Mark your calendar and make plans to attend Mass that weekend and the evening sessions that week. (HJT) COMMUNITY SERVICE RICE BOWL This is a Catholic Relief Services project that you may participate in during the Lenten Season. 25% of the proceeds helps alleviate hunger and poverty in our diocese. Rice Bowls may be picked up at the entrances of our Church. You may turn in your Rice Bowl to the parish office at any time. DAY OF ADORATION St. Mary Day of Adoration is the first Thursday of every month. Thursday, March 1, is the next Day of Adoration beginning at 7:30 AM and ending at 6:00 PM. The intention of the day is for reverence for Jesus in the arts and media. All are welcome. POKENO NIGHT Looking for something to do? Want to play Pokeno? Parishioners are asking! OPPORTUNITIES FOR CONFESSION The Central Deanery of the Diocese of Lafayette will host five regional Opportunities for Confession during Lent. Several priests will be present to hear Confessions at the locations, dates and times listed below. All are invited to attend any of these Opportunities for Confession. Please make every effort to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation in preparation for Easter Sunday.
