OUR LADY OF SORROWS LENTEN MISSION 2017 Strengthening Our Community in Christ As our Global Church moves into the season of Lent, our parish is entering a new season as well, as we settle into our identity as a stand alone collaborative. At this time, it is as important as ever to strengthen our community. Let us explore together how the pillars of Lent -- prayer, fasting and almsgiving -- can strengthen us, as a community and as individuals, for spiritual renewal. What is a Lenten Mission? It is an incredible opportunity for adults and teens to be spiritually renewed, refreshed and energized. Setting aside three nights is not easy, but giving God time to work in your life is essential. Lent is the perfect time! Join us for this inspiring event and watch God work in powerful ways. Sunday, March 5th, 6:00-7:00 p.m. A simple community meal and opening talk and discussion led by Amber Ezeani in O Connell Hall. To register, visit the parish website or call the parish office. Registration will help us determine how much food to have available, but all are welcome regardless of whether or not they have registered. Monday, March 6th, 7:30-8:30 p.m. Lenten Evening Prayer: Homilist, Liz Cotrupi Tuesday, March 7th, 7:30-8:30 p.m. Celebration of the Eucharist: Reverend Paul Soper, Homilist Free babysitting services will be offered in the Bullock Center each evening. SAVE THE DATES TODAY! Come to one night or come to all three! Speakers are provided by the Archdiocese of Boston Office of Lifelong Faith Formation. Seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time
