& Our Mission Statement Expressing Christ's love through compassion, evangelism, and discipleship. Jesus We are a church that is absolutely all about Jesus Christ! We firmly believe that He alone is the giver of life and salvation through His substitutionary death on the cross for our sins. It is our ultimate goal to point you to Him! Check out our website: www.parklakechurch.com www.thelakeschurch.tv If you are ready to become a member of the Park Lake-The Lakes Church merge, or have any questions please send an email to: info@parklakechurch.com Pastor David would love to answer all of your questions. Church Leaders SCRIPTURE SINGING KIDS Life Groups We firmly believe in the inerrancy of Scripture; that is to say, we believe the Bible to be God s perfect word to us. It imparts wisdom, conviction, correction, and ultimately reveals to us the person and work of Jesus Christ. Part of our worship involves singing praises to our King (Jesus). We invite you to join in and sing with us. If you don t sing well, that's okay. Our music is loud enough you probably won t be heard by anyone but Jesus who is our audience anyway! We want to be a church for the whole family. We offer The Club House a nursery for birth thru 3 years and a children s worship service for kids 4 years thru 5th Grade during the 10:30am Worship service in The Factory Children s Building. We encourage Junior High & High School students to attend our worship gathering which we believe they ll find relevant and engaging. Life Groups are small groups of people who meet in each other s homes to discuss the messages from Sunday Mornings. Flood Falls Creek Camp July 6 11th $185 Our Youth Group meets on Wednesday Nights. Doors open after School and we close at 8 pm. About Flood "Flood" is the best way to describe our youth group. Our goal is to "flood" our community with Christ's love. Flood is a place where you can be yourself in an environment that's been created with you in mind. This is a place where you can bring your friends, have a great time, and grow in your relationship with God. Flood Grow Groups are all about filling your life with the truth that will propel you towards Christ. Every weekend you will find a place where you can be a part of a relevant Bible study in a small group with other students that you can relate to. Time: Sunday 9:30 a.m. We also meet on Wednesday Nights at 6pm. Come see for yourself why Flood is the best place to find friends and grow your relationship with God!

Life Groups are small groups of people who meet in each other s homes to apply & discuss the Sunday message topic/scripture. There is no question that as you read scripture, God has hard-wired you to be in relationship. Relationships happen in small groups, and are a key component to reaching your potential as you mature in Christ. Life Groups will be made up of people with similar ages or family structures meeting together for the purpose of growing in your faith (Biblical discipleship). To help us connect you with a Life Group please click on the tab below. LIFE GROUP New Singles Life Group will meet every Wednesday, beginning May 20th at 7pm Upstairs in Fellowship Room 3. New Church Formation Team "We have been checking off the to do list to make one new church out of two as the New Church Formation Team. The team is an ad hoc (advisory) team which helps ensure that we know what we are doing legally and with wisdom from both churches how to form a new church entity in Texas. We are planning events and looking into filings to make sure we do the merge well. Things still to do: 1.) Figure out the filing with Secretary of State of Texas for a new church. 2.) Bring before the church this Sunday for a vote to create a new church entity. (An aside: there is no "The Lakes Church" in Texas, it is only a dba of Woodbridge Bible Fellowship. So we would create a new entity called The Lakes Church officially, which would be totally new, and doesn't yet exist). 3.) Vote on May 24th, after service, to create new church entity, The Lakes Church. 4.) New digital sign for Sachse Road for church. This lets us advertise things going on at church and invite people in. It would be eye catching to have movement rather than a static sign, so we can promote any church events/worship. We are busily examining sign options, quality, and pricing. The sign will cost approximately 34,000-35,000 and will come out of WBF building fund. 5.) Continue to assist with any way needed for setting up volunteer teams and Summer events. 6.) Share wisdom on Fall kick off. Pray for us. Things are going well. Blessings, David Keuss
