A word from the President I know you thought that the riding season would never get here. Well, I think that March is the official start of the riding season. We are still having a few cold mornings and some days filled with rain but we did manage to make our first ride of the season on the 11 th of February to the VA. What a great blessing it was to visit with those men who have served our country. We have always had a good visit, but seemed like this year God really poured out the love to those men through our chapter. We have a lot coming up in the next few months. Dillion is working hard at setting up some rides for us to enjoy. Michael Hukins, our State Coordinator, is working on putting together a calendar of the chapter rides so we may be able to join some other chapter rides too. So, check the calendar and make as many events as possible. It is our mission, as a CMA chapter, to focus on spreading the Gospel to those around us, especially bikers. With that thought in mind we need to be looking for opportunities to do just that. There are a couple of events that we can join with other chapters to help in doing just that. One is the ADR National Enduro Championship Series on April 30 at Forest Hill, and the other is the Monster Truck Show in DeRidder on April 22. Both of these events will allow us to visit and share with a lot of people where God has a plan for each of us. Watch for more information on all the upcoming events and as always, wear your COLORS!!! It s all about Jesus! Chaplain s Corner Best-Dressed "Let us be glad and rejoice, and let us give honor to him. For the time has come for the wedding feast of the Lamb, and his bride has prepared herself. She has been given the finest of pure white linen to wear." For the fine linen represents the good deeds of God's holy people. Revelation 19:7 8 Everyone wants to look their best on their wedding day. It is not the day for the groom to wear his comfortable T-shirt with holes in it. Nor will a bride stop by Taco Bell on the way to the ceremony and wolf down a burrito in her beautiful, immaculate wedding gown. In the book of Ephesians, the apostle Paul wrote about a wedding ceremony in which the church will be presented to Christ as His bride, who is "without a spot or wrinkle or any other blemish..." (Ephesians 5: 27). We want to be wearing our Sunday best, if you will, when we are presented to Christ. Revelation 19:8 describes the church as His bride, saying, " 'She has been given the finest of pure white linen to wear.' For the fine linen represents the good deeds of God's holy people." When we become Christians, we are forgiven of all our sins, and the righteousness of Christ is placed into our spiritual bank account, so to speak. This is called justification. We are made righteous positionally. Revelation 19:8, however, is talking about practical righteousness, or the righteousness that comes as a result of positional righteousness. We are not saved by works; we are saved by grace: "God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God" (Ephesians 2:8). However, once you are saved, there should be works in your life. Works don't save a person, but they are good evidence that a person is saved. It comes down to this: You can have works without faith, but you cannot have real faith without works. Is there spiritual fruit in your life? Is there any evidence that you are a follower of Jesus? Berry, Chaplain Remember we have our chapter Bible Study on the fourth Monday of each month at 6:00 PM at Midway Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Bring your Bible and a desire to grow in the Word. We are still studying the book of Hebrews. (Also bring something good to eat and share!)
Happy Birthday wishes to Jean Loupe March 2 Happy Anniversary to Tommy & Mary Meyers on March 21 & James & Rita Dedman on March 26 February was a slow month again for rides. There are some plans for upcoming rides in the works for March. We have our CMA Day of Prayer on March 5 th, we will leave Wal-Mart parking lot at 1:30 to ride to the local schools to pray. Our chapter Bike Blessing is on March 18 th and we will make a ride afterwards. The weather is getting just right for riding! TIP: Make sure to check out your bike before heading out. Since we are coming out of the cooler season and it is warming up make sure to check the air pressure in your tires it tends to change as the weather does. It s ALL about JESUS! Dillon Stevenson, Road Captain Run for the Son is right around the corner. If you are not already sending out those letters, better get started soon. And don t forget to put a little something aside each payday to make your own donation to RFTS!!! How can we expect others to donate if we are not willing to sacrifice a little of our own paychecks?!?

Lemon-Orange Citrus Smoothie 1 c skim or soy milk 6 oz (80-calorie) lemon yogurt 1 med orange peeled, cleaned, and sliced into sections Handful of ice COMBINE milk, yogurt, orange, and ice in a blender. Blend for 1 minute, transfer to a glass. I confess that I have not tried this, but I saw it somewhere and it sounded really good. I think I will give it a whirl (get it, whirl in the blender!).
