Those Serving This Sunday, Sept 1: Toddler Nursery: Amy Ball and Julissa Hinojos Infant Nursery: Sable Eackles Hello GCN Family! HUGE thank you to all of the teens and parents who came out to help with and those who came out to the Tumbleweed Festival and eat at our booth! We had a great turn out and representation from our church and group. We also were able to connect and meet several new students and people from the community. Thank you once again. Through events like these we look forward to expanding our reach little by little. Hopefully through that, we reach another person, and that life can be changed and transformed by the Holy Spirit! We are not doing things to become popular, better attended, or make money... we ultimately are attempting to effectively reach out to those who are lost and hurting. We thank you for that opportunity! This weekend we will not be having small groups on Sunday evening due to Labor day weekend and no church on Sunday evening. It's a family night! Please note: Quiz Practice will take place at 9:15am! Be studying Romans 2 and your new memory verses! Our next outreach event is Sept. 13th here at the church. We will be hosting a 5th quarter after the Home football game at the High School. If you are interested in attending please do so! We also are promoting the Extra Mile Run on Sept. 14th. which is also going to be hosted here at our church. Dallas Crist has all of the details and sign-up forms. If you would be interested in participating in this event (either through running or walking) please sign-up! All ages are welcome to join! Thank you once again! To Life! Jamie
