Lakol Z'man Koheleth said something like there is a time for everything-nlakol z'man. n Leaving a congregation is never easy. Leaving a community as vibrant and varied as Temple Beth-El at this time is downright difficult. It gave me great joy to look out at smiling, singing faces every Shabbat. New tunes, once strange, are now familiar. Studying, singing and praying together-even on those iffy days in December-has strengthened us and brought us closer to one another. nkoach n and character, you folks at Temple Beth-El have both, and I will treasure the speoial memories I have of you. As I embark on my journey westward, I leave a prayer for you. May you hold fast to the spirit of youth, and may you never lose your sense of wonder. May you be moved in the presence of creation as it greets you each day. May you bring blessing to all whom you touch in years to come. Amen. L'hitraot and love, Karen. Membership Committee If you know someone who might be interested in joining the Temple, please notify the Temple Office so that the Membership Committee can contact the person and introduoe him/her to our Temple. Nursery School Our Nursery School has completed its first year of operation. The success of our school can be seen in the smiling faces of the ohildren who attended it and in the progress the students have made since school opened. We express our gratitude to Eleanor Bouer for the outstanding job she did as our Nursery School teacher. The school now is preparing for the new school year beginning in September. If you or anyone you know is interested in sending a child to our Nursery Sohool in the Fall, please oall the Temple.
