2nd Sunday in Ordinary Time Page 5 St. Vincent de Paul Society Our Lady of Lourdes Conference Now that the Christmas season has come to an end, we as a ministry of this parish, would like to express our sincere gratitude for your continued support through your donations and prayers. Your commitment to us is the reason why we have been so successful in meeting the needs of those who have landed on hard times in our community. We would especially want to thank those anonymous donors for the contributions during the Christmas season. During the month of December we took 36 calls for assistance. Twenty calls were within our parish boundaries and the remaining 16 were referred to other parishes that have a St. Vincent de Paul conference. Your donations helped serve 51 individuals in those 20 families. We are still in need of individuals that can help answer calls. Our four present teams are doing a great job, but need help. If you re curious as to what taking a phone call entails, please contact Paul Conrad at 419-297-7270 and he ll explain the duties of our Neighbor Assistance Program. May God grant your prayers, both today, as well as in the future. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring glad tidings to the poor (Luke 4, 18)
