CONGREGATIONAL HYMN 1 I AM THINE OH LORD, I HAVE HEARD THY VOICE Fanny Crosby (1875 1. I am Thine, O Lord, I have heard Thy voice, And it told Thy love to me; But I long to rise in the arms of faith And be closer drawn to Thee. Refrain: Draw me nearer, nearer blessed Lord, To the cross where Thou hast died; Draw me nearer, nearer, nearer blessed Lord, To Thy precious, bleeding side. 2. Consecrate me now to Thy service, Lord, By the pow r of grace divine; Let my soul look up with a steadfast hope, And my will be lost in Thine. 3. Oh, the pure delight of a single hour That before Thy throne I spend, When I kneel in prayer, and with Thee, my God I commune as friend with friend! 4. There are depths of love that I cannot know Till I cross the narrow sea; There are heights of joy that I may not reach Till I rest in peace with Thee.
CONGREGATIONAL HYMN 2 Immortal, invisible, God only wise, Walter Chalmers Smith (1824-1908) Immortal, invisible, God only wise, In light inaccessible hid from our eyes, Most blessèd, most glorious, the Ancient of Days, Almighty, victorious, Thy great Name we praise. Unresting, unhasting, and silent as light, Nor wanting, nor wasting, Thou rulest in might; Thy justice, like mountains, high soaring above Thy clouds, which are fountains of goodness and love. To all, life Thou givest, to both great and small; In all life Thou livest, the true life of all; We blossom and flourish as leaves on the tree, And wither and perish but naught changeth Thee. Great Father of glory, pure Father of light, Thine angels adore Thee, all veiling their sight; But of all Thy rich graces this grace, Lord, impart Take the veil from our faces, the vile from our heart. All laud we would render; O help us to see Tis only the splendor of light hideth Thee, And so let Thy glory, Almighty, impart, Through Christ in His story, Thy Christ to the heart.
CONGREGATIONAL HYMN 3 We lift the light of hope Words by Ken Bible. Music by Oliver Holden We lift the light of hope, O God, Your presence burning bright. In praise we sing the gift You bring: Our hope complete in Christ. In praise we sing the gift You bring: Our hope complete in Christ. We lift the light of peace, O God, The Lord of truth and right. In Your domain let justice reign And bring us peace in Christ. In Your domain let justice reign And bring us peace in Christ. We lift the light of joy, O God. Your praise is our delight! Your blessings flow that all may know Unbounded joy in Christ. Your blessings flow that all may know Unbounded joy in Christ. We lift the light of love, O God, Your candle in our night. You come to give and help us live The mighty love of Christ. You come to give and help us live The mighty love of Christ.

And when I could not see for the glory of that light, being led by the hand of them that were with me, I came into Damascus. (Acts 22:11 KJV) Light has glory and the more one is illuminated; the more glorious, colorful, opulent, splendid, magnificent, etc. one would become. Let usseek to gain Light. About the God we serve and the Father we share, the Bible says, God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. (1 John 1:5 KJV), about the glorious intensity and splendor of His Light, the Bible says, And the city has no need of the sun nor of the moon to give light to it, for the glory (splendor, radiance) of God has illumined it, and the Lamb is its lamp and light. The nations [the redeemed people from the earth] will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring into it their glory. (Rev. 21:23-24 AMP). The City of God is lit by the Glorious intensity and the splendor of God s illumination. Beloved, Light adds color to our lives. Light illuminates our lives and brings us into relevance, significance and visibility. Consider, how relevant, visible and evident the Light of God is to the City of God, it so lit the City that, the city has no need of the sun nor of the moon to give light to it. This notable significance of bearing and being Light must enthuse and motivate us to pursue, engage and retain the Light domicile in God. This Light is the notice and knowledge of the Holy God. The more of God we know, the more of God will become and the more of His Light we attract and reflect. About Moses, a man that was called up unto God at Sinai, so contacted and connected God that he reflected Light (God) as he descended the Mount about which the Bible says, When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the Testimony in his hand, he did not know that the skin of his face was shining [with a unique radiance] because he had been speaking with God. (Exo. 34:29 AMP). Notice, Moses face shone because he had beenspeaking with God. The knowledge of God adds color, health and wellness to a person that one will truly shine. This is a faithful saying. The Bible further says about Moses, When Aaron and all the Israelites saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone, and they were afraid to approach him. (Exo. 34:30 AMP). This unique experience was also recorded about our Lord Jesus Christ upon the Mount described as the Mount of transfiguration of which the Bible says, Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. (Matt. 17:1-2 KJV) and also of Stephen a man full of Faith and Power when being accused by the peoples, the elders, and the scribes, the Bible says, And all that sat in the council, looking stedfastly on him, saw his face as it had been the face of an angel. Indicative of Glory on the face and skin of a natural man as you and me. Beloved, God does not intend nor design any of His children to be defaced, deprived or denied of glory, rather, the more of God we know and allow Him to illuminate our being, the more enveloped we are by the Light of His knowledge and Glory is the necessary result. For God, who said, Let light shine out of darkness, is the One who has shone in our hearts to give us the Light of the knowledge of the glory and majesty of God [clearly revealed] in the face of Christ. (2 Cor. 4:6 AMP) Awake to Light; gain Light through the knowledge of God, It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. (Prov. 3:8 KJV) Olusanya Adewusi
WEEKLY REVIEW "Through the tender mercy of our God, with which the Dayspring from on high has visited us; To give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, To guide our feet into the way of peace. Luke 1:78-79 Just like the dayspring introduces the dawn of a new day so does the coming of light into a man s situation bring about a change for good. This light comes from the word of God reveled to save us and bring us peace. God introduces this light and we can obtain it irrespective of the chronological time in a day. Find Light. About Saul who later became Paul the Apostle, the Bible says, As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. (Acts 9:3 NIV). This light from heaven is the interceptor and dayspring that ended the evil darkness that had directed the life of Saul and ushered a glorious new dawn for Paul the Apostle, bringing him to an eminent place in the Apostleship where he did more than all the others in the work of the Gospel and Ministry. Beloved, let us be fast to pursue and gain light; revelations of the truth, it will always sway darkness for a glorious new dawn and a happier new day. Sister Kachi Odumah New Day
