RESTORING THE WORLD ONE RELATIONSHIP AT A TIME 2018 ANNUAL REPORT

OUR VALUES RELATIONSHIP INSPIRATION INTEGRITY TRANSFORMATION OUR MISSION TO REACH THE DISCONNECTED AND GROW THE CONNECTED Faith Church is committed to reaching out to those disconnected from God and/or the Christian community. Our goal is to embrace them and connect them to a community of believers who can help them to grow and develop in their faith and Christian walk. OUR VISION A COMMUNITY OF BELIEVERS ACTIVELY ENGAGED IN RESTORING & TRANSFORMING THE WORLD ONE RELATIONSHIP AT A TIME

Dear Faith Church Family, 365 - God willing, that s how many days Faith Church is given each year to live out our mission of restoring the world one relationship at a time. Across six campuses, Faith Church has the opportunity to make connections with so many different people, in and out of the church, experiencing their own walks of life - the mom of three (MomsNation), the caregiver of a cancer patient (Overcomers), the financially struggling parent (Faith Family Market, Christian Aid), the teen seeking identity (Faith Students), the gambler (Celebrate Recovery), the widower (Seniors Group), the school principal (Kids Hope), the five year old Kindergartener (Faith Kids), and the list goes on and on. Our Annual Report is created so you can see and be reminded of all of God s goodness to and through Faith Church. While reading each page, be reminded how the numbers illustrated can also represent souls in our church body. I m thoroughly humbled to serve as your senior pastor for the last 27 years. I love our Faith Church family - the talents, the gifts, the outreach, the generosity - that all comes pouring out of each one of you. Blessings, Pastor Bob Bouwer

MISSIONS Faith Missions strives toward mobilizing people and resources to restore the world one relationship at a time. We do this primarily through partnering with like-minded, vibrant, evangelical churches and organizations in targeted communities around the world, or impact areas. Our engagement within these partnerships are focused toward leadership development, community development and reaching unreached people. IMPACT AREA HIGHLIGHTS BRAZIL WORKING WITH THE FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH Through the REACH project, we completed work on building a vocational school in Intapecau in partnership with IPM (First Presbyterian Church) of Manaus, Brazil. This school currently hosts before/ after school tutoring. Kids in this area typically go to school for only a ½ day so this programming fills in the remaining part of the day We began partnership with RCA missionary Bob Olivera, as well as supported the work of IPM missionaries Lia and Thiago Dantas in their seminary education. Each of these individuals will work as liaisons between Faith/RCA and IPM in discovering our next steps of Faith Church s engagement in the Amazon state.

ADDITIONAL AREAS TO CELEBRATE In February we sent a team of 10 to serve alongside World Renew in Houston, TX primarily working on homes damaged in the hurricane the previous fall. Continued training 12 pastors through a cohort in Indonesia in partnership with Leadership Resources International. Pastor Bob and Pastor Andy were able to travel to Indonesia in February to meet these pastors and participate in LRI s work. WORKING WITH WORLD RWANDA VISION IN SIMBI, RWANDA In 2018 we celebrated 10 years of partnering with World Vision in Rwanda! This year we grew our sponsored kids number by 112 to a grand total of 485 Kids sponsored in Simbi, Rwanda Raised $108,958.46 and had 60 individuals run the half and full marathons with Team World Vision Sponsored 30 pastors in their final years of schooling at Onesimus Nesib Seminary (ONS) in Aira, Ethiopia. Because of additional interest and giving, we were able to support the printing of curriculum for the Theological Education by Extension (TEE). Continued work with Talking Bibles to place audio Bibles in fishing villages along the coast of South East India. This partnership has resulted in the establishment of 2 churches with over 100 believers worshipping regularly. Annual support given to 60+ organizations and individual missionaries
