Prayers and Thanksgiving 4 January 2009 Pray for members of our congregation who are dealing with spiritual emotional and physical problems. May their burdens be lifted up. Pray for Pastor Burgeson for wisdom and discernment. Pray for victims of natural disasters. Katie Bryant who is in ICU at AG Hospital. Prayers for healing for her lungs. Jeanne Rice, former organist at Shell Beach UMC is at home. Praise! Jerry Smith s numbers are down. Prayers for continued healing. Praise! Lynn Stewart s sister, Barbara Ralph s cancer tests came back negative. Pray for the family of Trudy Beck who passed away Christmas Day. Services were held Friday. Pray for Luella Hendricks who has been relocated to be with family. Michelle Paredes asks prayers for her brother-in-law, Ricardo, who has head injuries. Prayers for Lynda Mahaffey and family with the passing of Lynda s mother on 12/20. We are currently only funding our covenant missionary Judy Atwood in Kansas. Remember in prayer: Our missionaries serving God around the world; the leaders of our country; leaders and the people of North Korea, Africa and in the Middle East. Continue to lift up those serving in the military and their families.
