RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS We welcome all unbaptized individuals, friends, family members and neighbors who are not Roman Catholic Christians or those individuals within the Catholic Tradition who may have never received the Sacraments of the Holy Eucharist or Confirmation to participate in our parish program for adult Christian Initiation at this time. This program is also ideal for baptized Christians of other Christian denominations who are interested in learning more about the Catholic Faith. If you know of someone who may wish to experience the richness of our Catholic Faith and who desires to participate fully in the sacramental life of the Church, please contact Barbara Bunag at 732-257-7722. MATRIMONY The Sacrament of Matrimony requires an extensive period of preparation. Contact must be made with Parish Center one year in advance. MINISTRY TO THE SICK The Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist and the anointing of the sick is available to our parish sick and shut-ins upon request. Please inform the parish concerning the needs of the sick by calling the Parish Office. If any member of the parish is hospitalized, please notify the Parish Office immediately so that a member of the Pastoral Staff may visit. PLEASE PRAY FOR THE MEMBERS OF OUR PARISH FAMILY WHO ARE SICK AS WELL AS THOSE MEMBERS WHO ARE SERVING IN THE ARMED FORCES Dear Brothers & Sisters: In December of 2019 the Diocese of Metuchen will be formally consecrated to Our Lady of Guadalupe. Before this event, Bishop Cheechio has requested that each parish community spend these months in prayer to Our Lady and become more familiar with the story of Guadalupe. Next Sunday, Brother Patrick Reilly, the Director of the Catholic Center at Rutgers University, will speak at our Parish Communion Breakfast. Brother Patrick will share with our community the amazing story of the Virgin Mary s appearance to Saint Juan Diego and how Mary under the title of Our Lady of Guadalupe was named the patroness of the Americas by Saint John Paul II. Please come to the Communion Breakfast immediately following the 10 am. Mass. The breakfast is being provided by the Knights of Columbus. Please RSVP to the parish office, 732-257-7722. Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us. In Christ, Fr. Thomas St. Bartholomew Columbietts January 26th & 27th, 2019: $18,448.02 Is your New Years resolution to get more involved in your church, your community, to help people in need?
