WE ARE THE CRUSADERS Called, chosen and brought out. Sent into this world to be a Holy Nation, lives illuminated by the light and love of Jesus Christ. We come from different social backgrounds, countries, speak many languages, and experience different cultures. Our diversity does not divide us, however, but brings us together behind the power of One God who has a name above all others Jesus Christ. He is our life source. He is our passion. He is our purpose, and He is our love. And we will do anything and everything to reach this world with that Love. VISION 2015 JESUS In 2015 we will challenge every Crusader to have a stronger relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus is our everything. He is The Way, The Truth, and The Life. Without Him we are nothing. We want to encourage every student to fall in love with Jesus like never before. At National Youth Convention we are going to preach Jesus like never before. And through this preaching, we believe our young people will ignite a passion for Jesus and His kingdom like never before. We believe, through relationship with Jesus, everything else will fall in place. SOULS Our Crusaders will be challenged in 2015 to win at least one soul. To assist, we will equip them with a free copy of the AC Bible Study; teach them how to start Bible clubs at their middle schools and high school through P7 Clubs; and we will teach them how to start a campus ministry at their college or university through our all-new Campus Ministries International (CMI) partnership with the UPCI. We will also challenge our students to attend one of our AYC USA Missions, or one of our International Mission trips in 2015. GIVING We will challenge our students to give their 10 percent tithe back to their congregation at home, and then inspire them to start giving to Overflow like never before. Overflow is our National Youth Department offering that helps us bring the gospel to the entire world. Our shift in giving more to Missions at home and abroad will make for an easy transition for our students to give to the Missions America and World Missions department as they grow older. Please help support Overflow and giving to the youth department within your district. 3

Deuteronomy 6 gives us clear instruction that the Word of God should be in our hearts, and to repeat them again and again talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. (Deut 6:7) Bible Quizzing gives students a structured curriculum for memorizing scripture, and a fun, competitive environment to test their knowledge and improve their memorization skills. Quizzing also keeps students engaged on the local church level, in Christian Education and school competition, and culminates each year in a National Bible Quizzing tournament. QUIZZING CHANGES 2015 2014 will be the last year for our National Championship to be held at NYC. Beginning in June 2015 our National Championship will be held at General Ministry Conference. Quizzing tournaments will still be held at NYC, however, covering the first 1/3 of the material. The winner of the NYC tournament will get an automatic berth into the National Championship, with their room paid for by the Crusaders. The Christian Education Department will begin using the same material so everyone is able to compete at all ALJC Quizzing events using the same material. The material can be found at http://stores.bqmaterials.com. For more information on getting started with Bible Quizzing, contact our National Director, RONDA LLOYD aljcbqmaster@yahoo.com 8
Project 7 (P7) is a free resource for students to utilize for the purpose of starting Bible Clubs on their High School and Middle School campuses. P7 Clubs are student led and driven opportunities for students to participate in a spiritually inspired, relationship oriented, community serving project in their school. If you are interested in starting or joining a P7 club make the pledge to be a P7 Missionary! The Crusaders joined with the United Pentecostal Church International s General Youth Division to help make P7 Bible Clubs a reality in schools across the nation. There are hundreds of P7 clubs meeting currently, and the number is growing every day! The P7 Bible Club at Volunteer High School in Church Hill, Tennessee was founded by students from The Promise Apostolic Church. When the school was struck by tragedy involving the death of a student, it was The Promise, other area youth pastors, and the ministry of P7 that helped students through. The Promise has been experiencing revival, and students from the VHS P7 club have been baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost! For more information on getting started with P7, contact our National Director, CHASE VICARS cvicars@yahoo.com 9
Campus Ministry International (CMI) was formed to enable and encourage local churches to effectively reach out to the college and university students in their vicinities with the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is done by a variety of means, including motivating Districts and churches to establish and maintain campus evangelism, providing materials and training to aid in the formation of these campus ministries, acting as a clearinghouse for the gathering and distribution of new information, ideas, and materials, and establishing communication and cooperation between campus ministries in our fellowship. This ministry is the newest partnership between the Apostolic Crusaders and the United Pentecostal Church to reach students with the gospel. Through CMI, opportunities exist to turn college campuses into thriving missions fields, as well as opening up possibilities for those called to full-time campus ministry.
